Finally getting around to posting this, a commission done for @rotclaw earlier in the year. Red and purple color combos have really grown on me lately.

that piece you posted is /incredibly/ beautiful. do you have any recommendations or tips for people wanting to draw scenery like that?

thank you that’s really kind! honestly anything I say will just be badly-remembered things I learned from James Gurney! I recommend his books, they’re usually around $16-$20 each on amazon or wherever

oh and use lots of references and flip your canvas all the time
