Her voice that rings out in the silence draws his attention to her. It comes as a surprise to hear that but after what they've endured together, it shouldn't be.

After getting home and waiting about a week, Leon had come to check up on her. She seems to be doing alright, far better than he is, but some people are good at faking it.

He hadn't expected this to be turned back to him, though. Just what is she noticing? The way he looks like hell? The way he craves death? Or the way he wants to drink himself to death? Something else entirely?

"Yeah? Enlighten me, what have you noticed?"

He knew that this was how Loki dressed regularly. Such is the educate of royalty. Still, the warrior would take any chance to flirt with the other.

It’s no secret that he’s the favourite of the three ⏤ the most efficient, the most compliant, and the one most likely to put his head down and just get on with the job, no complaints, no questions. Even still, the feeling of something wrapping around his neck caught him by surprise, gaze following the length of the leash to the hand of the god looming over him. Huh, well that’s new. 

The words that accompany the action stun him, at a loss of how to answer that. Not every day he’s made speechless, always seeming to have some quick witted reply or snarky comment but right now, there’s nothing, the observation replaying in his mind. Was Khonshu fucking flirting with him? Lips tug into a smirk, head tilting up to regard the other with a mischievous glint in dark eyes. ❝ You plannin’ on doin’ something ‘bout that or are ya content just lookin’, jefe? ❞

Instinctively, hands had moved to stop the removal of his helmet, an old habit that was hard to break. By all rights, he shouldn’t still be wearing it. He had broken the creed, shown his face to another living being ⏤ to continue wearing it went against the creed. And yet, rules were being bent, even now. Slowly, his grip on the pilots wrists lessened, a light hold as the helmet was lifted slightly higher, lips pressing against his. Instantly, tension ebbed from shoulders, melting into the gentle kiss.
