He knew that you made rings from scratch, and knew your love language was gift giving, so when you give him homemade jewelry, he's touched, especially since you had to melt the metal and work at it so it could fit around his finger.

He knows how hard it is for you to express your feelings sometimes, so gift giving is a part of you expressing your feelings for him.

Donnie

Donnie knew how hard it was to plan, create, and then weld the rings. Just like how long it took for him to plan, build and create his magnificent scientific creations, that is how long it took for you to plan your hand made jewelry.

Donnie kept every gift you made him, after all, you kept his special interests in mind.

Mikey

Mikey knew how long it took to carve and set the gemstones in the jewelry and don’t forget sizing the rings for his fingers! So bless your soul, he was going to keep every single gift!

But boy do you get excited about making gifts! Because your creative mind is always at work and you even have a etsy shop and Mikey always has to contain himself and try to listen to you when you say its a gift!

Raph

Raph underestimated how determined you were to make him something, at first he refused but you would not give up, so eventually he decided to enjoy getting gifts! Though he wore the rings around his neck due to the rings being a bit tight! But he loved them regardless!

He keeps every single one in a little box and will give his brothers and earful if they even lay one claw on the jewelry.

"Noooo," Leo whines as you wiggle in his arms like a fish out of water. He holds you tighter, hands on your waist, burying his head into your shoulder while you giggle.

"Babe," You say with a hint of chiding, but he grumbles. 

"I saved the world. I should at least get this."

You shake your head with a sigh, though the smile on your lips reassures him that you're not serious when he peeks an eye open to check. You reluctantly give up, shifting your position to get more comfortable in his embrace. 

Your hand reaches up, cradling his cheek as he leans into your gentle touch with a churr. Your thumb brushes against his cheek, lips slightly pursed when you take in the number of bruises and scratches that litter his skin. 

Your eyes are soft, recalling moments ago when you were all fighting against the Kraang threatening to take over the world. Your boyfriend had bravely fought back against the captain while you were helping Mikey and Donnie, barely managing to escape. 

Leo hums, glancing at you with a warm smile as he nuzzles his snout against your neck. You giggle, the ticklish sensation making you smile. "I'm so tired, princess." He complains. 

"Yeah, alien invasions tend to be rather draining," You say sarcastically, though your nose scrunches when he scowls playfully at you. 

"Hey, I just defeated them and brought Raph back, and even became an unintentional mentor, all with saving the world on the side!" He reminds you yet again. You roll your eyes with a sheepish smile. At least now you know what he'll be holding over everyone's heads for the next month.

"Right, right. My bad, you poor, poor baby." You coo, squishing his cheeks together and pressing a quick kiss to his lips in an attempt to placate him. He frowns at first from your teasing, but his furrowed brows relax when your lips brush against his, a silly smile stretching across his lips when you pull away.

"I know what you're doing, and it's working," He grumbles.

"Hey, y/n!" You hear Raph call out from the living room. You move to get up, only for your boyfriend to refuse to let you go, choosing to tug you against his plastron with a sly smile.

"Leooo," You groan in protest, lightly slapping his plastron. He shakes his head stubbornly, burying his face into your hair. You sigh, pressing a quick kiss against his shoulder.

"Yeah?" You shout back from your (rather pleasant) prison.

"Kinda need you over here!" Mikey yells in response.

You glance from Leo's closed eyes and sly smile to the room's entrance. You try to wiggle once more before giving up when he doesn't budge an inch.

"Can't right now. Can it wait?" 

You hear footsteps getting closer, cheeks flushing, when you see their shadows approach. Donnie's the first to spot the both of you, peeking inside before he dry-heaves at the sight of you in his brother's arms. 

"Oh god, Galileo, my innocent eyes!" He cries out in despair, hands pressed against the wall as he tries to suppress his disgusted gags.

Raph and Mikey poke their heads past the wall to see Leo's room, only to laugh once they see your trapped position on Leo's bed. 

"Looks like Leo's got a new teddy bear," Raph guffaws, though he secretly finds it cute as he pulls out his phone and snapping a picture of you two.

"What are you, flypaper?" Mikey giggles, and in true brotherly fashion, Leo glares at them. 

"Someone get me to the eyewash station; I've been contaminated, contaminated, I say!" Donnie groans, swaying slightly as his expression becomes more nauseous with each word.

You scoff at the poor virgin, rolling your eyes before kicking it up a notch by pressing a sudden kiss against Leo's cheek. He looks down at you with wide eyes, though a euphoric grin slowly makes its way onto his face. You link your arms around his neck, winking at him. "Kinda busy with my hero right now."

Leo's blush from his brother's comments has just begun to ebb away, but Donnie's loud, strangled screech makes him groan loudly, hanging his head as red coats his cheeks in embarrassment.

"Okay, everyone out!" He yells, glaring at all his brothers, who leave with giggles and in Donnie’s case, wails of disgust with a sly grin mixed in. 

He collapses back onto his bed with an exhausted groan, and you rub his arms with a comforting smile. He wraps his arms around you again, wanting nothing more than uninterrupted time with his girlfriend in his tired state.

"Aww," You murmur, kissing his cheek again with a tender smile. He grins down at you, all embarrassment from earlier leaving without a trace as he settles back into the comfortable atmosphere between you both. 

You continue to cuddle with him, gently stroking his shell as his churrs slowly turn into slow breaths. He dozes off quickly, and you let out a content hum, your eyelids becoming heavy as your thoughts become sluggish.

"Rest well," You whisper before your eyes finally close, dozing off with him.

He looked it over, and you could have sworn you saw a smirk before he exited the app, switching to the camera

“You okay, Mikey?”

“Uh.. yeah! No problems here whatsoever!”

You deadpan

“You’re lying, man. I can feel it. Spill.”

He tries the sad puppy eyes, to get himself out of potential trouble,

“You should know by now that I’m immune.”

He sighed, turning the screen towards you

“Fine! A notification popped up with my name on it, but I KNOW I haven’t sent you anything yet today! I just wanted to see what it is.. But it’s just a romance thingy about an ‘extroverted artist’, according to the title..”

You spluttered

“Mikey!”

“What?! It had my name on it, I got curious!”

Great

“..Whatever, man. I can get you back to your pictures.”

You could feel the look he gave you as you went through your apps, silencing the notifications for your fics

Rise Turtles x sad reader headcanons

Raphael

When he'll notice that you are sad he would become immediately very worried about you

Raph will ask what happened and cuddle you while stroking your hair

If you don't want to talk he is going to just sit with you cuddling, even letting you cry in his sholder if you want till you seem better

Would offer bringing you some snacks for better mood. Whatever you want, big guy is going to get it for you

Even if you will seem better our red hero will have close eye on you, and will often ask about how you feel for few next days

Leonardo

He I'll do everything to get to the bottom of whatever set you in this ugly mood

Will teeze you at first thinking it is nothing much. If you respond negatively do that he would be consernd and more serious

Leo will imidetlty tell his brothers about what he just witnessed. Will make them bring you some ice cream, films, comics, games you like, to spend some time doing whatever you want

Blue is going to talk to you trying to cheer you up. He won't be trying force you talk just will be telling some nice stories and cheesy stuff to make you forget about the sadness

After that will go to deal with person/reason that made you sad to be sure it won't happen ever again

Michelangelo

He will try to make you laugh by making some silly stuff! Jumping on trampoline in dino costume, acting out funny scenes from Jupiter Jim, he even try playing peekaboo with you

Mikey is going too stay with you till you feel better. Boy won't let you alone for a second. He is determined to not leave your side until he see your smile

If the situation is worse than he thought, he will activate professor feelings. Sweet boy is going to talk with you and help process your feelings

Mikey will be very delicate while talking, to not make you more upset. Also will send you a lot of reassuring smiles doing talk

He'll hug you very very strong after and reassure you that you are great and you can definitely handle everything what happened! That you are amazing and no matter what he and his brothers will always help you if you need anything

Donatello

Will make place really cozy, and clam. Don is going to bring some pillows, scented candles and set some music to make you feel comfortable and relaxed

Donnie'll tell Sheldon to bring hot coco and some sweets to make your endorfin going

Will offer you different solutions for your problem, some less and some more socially acceptable

If you aren't in the mood to talk about what upset you, he'll mumble about his new ideas for tech stuff and everything that will get your mind away

every day he comes back home with a new bruise, or an extra colorful bandage on his arm. frankly, you were concerned. it had never been too bad, really, until one night when he came home with an especially bad injury

the telltale sound of a familiar turtle at your window had you up on your feet before you could even register what you were doing

"oh! Mikey I was wondering where you- OH MY GOD"

there he was, blood on his hands and a massive cut across his side, and a chip on the edge of his shell. what the hell happened?

"..hey y/n"

"are you ok?? oh holy shit uh- sit on my bed I've got a first aid kit in my bathroom"

quickly leading him inside, you guided him to your bed and handing him a glass of water before frantically running to your bathroom. ok- what happened? what did he get into that ended this badly? do his brothers know? maybe you should call them..

"hey y/n..?" mikey called out softly

“Yeah hun?”

"do you have a towel..? i don't wanna ruin your bedsheets.." you grabbed the first aid kit and anything else that could help him before running back into your room

'even in times like this he's so sweet..'

"don't worry about it mikey, I just wanna help you right now" you glanced down at him and gave him a small peck on the forehead while setting the first aid kit on the ground in front of the bed. kneeling down, you grabbed a damp, warm, towel from the bowl you had brought out. After wringing it out, you glanced up at your loving boyfriend and studied the stars in his eyes- a lovestruck smile on his and your features

he gazed down at you with a small smile before wincing and reminding you of the issue at hand

"Sorry Mikey.. this might hurt." you gave him an apologetic look before putting the towel directly on the cut, and putting pressure on it to stop the bleeding.

"oh f-" He whimpered out- biting on his finger to stop from making too much noise (also because he didn't want to swear in front of his girlfriend) Mikey stared down at you, tears in his eyes and a look of worry plastered on his face

"Gosh, mikey- I'm sorry, I have to stop the bleeding-" you felt so bad. you know he doesn't have the greatest pain tolerance, this must be hell. "I'm almost done with this part just hold on honey" you looked away from his face to the cut on his side, seeing that it's slowly starting to stop bleeding.

taking the towel from his side, Mikey let out a breath of relief, and grabbed your free hand

"y'know, y/n you... you don't have to do this- I can just call donnie and he can help me out-"

"no." you cut him off "I'm not letting my boyfriend just show up at my door- uh- window all bloody and bruised and not do anything about it. what kind of partner would I be?" you gently grabbed his cheek, rubbing the skin under his mask. "besides, I can't handle seeing you hurt.. I wanna be able to help you. what if- what if one day I'm not able to fix you up? I know donnie could help- it's just that sometimes I like being able to help my beautiful boyfriend" you gazed into his eyes, as he explored the depths of color in your own.

"you think I'm beautiful?" He smiled, grabbing the hand that was holding his face and giving it a kiss before looking back at you.

"THAT was what you took from my whole speech?" he smirked and gave you a peck on the nose, inches from your face as you started wrapping bandages around his waist, awkwardly leaning over him to get around his shell.

"maybe so sunshine, but I love getting pampered by a pretty girl like you." Mikey let go of your hand and did a fake hair flip, watching as you tied the bandage in disbelief.

"y'know what? I think I will call donnie. let's see what he has to say about you SNEAKING OUT again."
