My second family to move into Melody Village is a small family from Belladonna Cove; Helen, Roger, and little Jessica Jackson, and they are so unlike the only other family in town. Helen and Roger believe in a strict upbringing, and that also means no TV.

The moved into Ocarina Street, a set of beautiful little row houses. (That I did not do, sorry if I can’t remember to credit.) Helen and Roger are neat and serious Sims with generally kind personalities, but their daughter Jessica has a bit of a mean streak. She’s also as messy as they come, and most definitely are working to fix those issues. Whether they have luck or not is to be seen.

They also did not appreciate Mrs. C (Who I will forever refer her as) who was not only very sloppy, but also a supporting actress, which their daughter seemed a little too interested in.

That can easily be explained that not all elders are hunched. Look at beautiful Cher after all? Not that I think she’s old or anything but others would.

Exactly! In fact, I rather hate the elder bodyshape for both sexes, but especially the females. (Probably because I’m what the game would consider a female elder, being past menopause and all. ;) ) I mean, sure, they should have saggy boobs when they’re naked unless you want to say they’ve had implants (and even those will sag after a while, especially if they’re huge, because gravity is a thing that exists), but when you’re clothed a good bra will take care of that. And the hunching! Ugh. My mother is 80, and she has perfect posture, way better than mine because I’m a sloucher. My grandmother was 104 when she died, and no hunching. Not everyone gets osteoporosis! I mean, I get that they probably wanted clear visual differences between the lifestages (although they don’t seem so concerned about that anymore *side-eyes TS4*), but.... *shakes outraged elderly fist at game*

Hey Keoni-chan, I hope you don't mind a WCIF. its kind of silly, but I'm trying to get my downloads back, and its been bugging me. That JULES Visitor chair recolors Anna's/Poppets or whoever (can't keep track of all of them!) Do you know where I can get them? I believe I saw them a few times before, but a lot of links are dead these days. Thanks so much, sorry to bother you!

By Saturday morning it seemed everyone was in need of some fun. No one more pressing than Gavin and Ginger so I sent them down to the Roller Skating Rink where Gavin scored a potential date, and the best part, she was not put off by his large family.

You know the child stage is one of my favorites, however when all six children, including Gavin and Ginger each bring friends home, their small rowhouse gets just a little crowded, and that’s not even all of them! There are two more somewhere on the lot. I don’t even try to control them, I have Ginger make food, and then let them do what they please.

My next stop is Strangetown. I have comfortably placed the Ottomas family in Pleasantview somewhere, but they’ll be played last since David has met 3 of the teens in the area, and it only seems right. I’m also skipping Herb and Coral, not because I think they are boring but because I would like for them to live a little longer.

Also, a new development happened at the Caliente’s that I was unaware of, and so I have to decide to what to do at the Grunt House, who I had planned on playing next, but it seems too soon. I often choose the rotation play according to how much the playable sims interact with others in the town.

Also, question, how long before Olive dies? I also had a few plans for her, which means I might have to tweak the age if only to give her some story and me some time to play her!

Strangetown is definitely new to me. I’ve dabbled in Pleasantview several times, and I’ve peaked and watched others play Strangetown, but I never have until now. But, first, I need rest.

It simply wasn’t fair. She had a steady A average, and still the school insisted on holding her back for one more year to make sure she was up to their standards. Hmph!

Her boyfriend Johnny had been gone for a long time. She hadn’t even gotten a phone call, but she didn’t blame him. It’d been so long that she almost forgot that he was green. It was time, and age, and ever since Strangetown and Pleasantview started going to the same school, he’d been very distant. She supposed that’s what happened when one grew up.

Still, it was kind of refreshing when she met Alexander as he was walking by. She thought he was terrified by the sight of the graves. Most people were, only Johnny seemed to be completely clueless about the creepy medieval style in which she was forced to live as her aunt had peculiar tastes. 

But, instead, she was surprised when he complimented it. “Reminds me of home.”

“... You like this place?”

“Why wouldn’t I? Its timeless.”

“... er - yeah - you wanna come in and hang out?”

“I’d love to!”

Meanwhile, Olive Specter is on a mission. What mission that is? Its to settle some affairs before the end. She had many of them, and she wouldn’t go until she was damn well ready, and Grim knew it.

Ripp goes out with the school sweetheart Meadow Thayer has a very good time, and since he’s been slowly repairing things with Tank or rather the other way around (Lucy is really good for him) he decided to be nice.

“Man, I’m such a good little brother... the idiot can’t even keep up with the latest celebrities and gossip.” He gets home to see Tank working off steam as usual.

“Yo! Tank, get your ass over here, I have something for you.”

“What?”

“You can thank me later...”

“What are you talking about?’

“You and Lucy. I overheard your last conversation together at lunchtime. You really don’t know who Paty Kerry is?”

“...” 

“Seriously, she’s the biggest star right now, lack of taste notwithstanding - that’s pop culture for you. So here.”

“A magazine? You got me a star magazine? What the F*** would I want with this?’

“So you’ll stop tripping, and word has it that Lucy wants to be an actress?”

“So?”

“So, big brother, the more you’re interested in her future career the better off you are. Don’t make dad’s mistake.”

“He didn’t make a mistake, she did.”

“They both did. Don’t say I never gave you anything...”

And then Tank decided to thank him in his own way... Two hours later. “Seriously? This is not what I had in mind.”

“Do you really want your girlfriend to be able to lift you over her head?”

“Well no... I don’t want anyone to do that.”

“Then get with the program!” Later that night, he would try and hide out in his room to read only for Buck to barge in. Maybe he should take his magazine to the park. The General might be lenient these days, but he might very well flip out if he saw Tank with what he called a waste of good ol’ Simtonian Paper.
