Somna comic strips from the Hero Wars event
I am saving these screenshots as a way of documenting this in-game event.
As much as I love (or used to love) this game, I hate the blatant push the company has made with AI art. I joined this game for some of the stories they where telling at the time but now? A lot of old characters have been pushed to the wayside and keep adding new ones with subpar storytelling.
What even is this character? A wolf? A fox? I don't know. And I kind of don't care. I want to know more about Lilith. Or Fox. Or Faceless. Or any of the other older characters that have existed since to beginning!
And don't even get me started about the AI art. The style isn't even consistent! I hate that it feels like they don't use actual artists anymore.
so who was gonna tell me that THE guy holding a peace sign at a funeral meme was BARRY FUCKING ALLEN??? AND IN FRONT OF OLIVER QUEEN'S GRAVE??? THAT WAS A DC MEME THIS WHOLE TIME AND NO ONE TOLD ME???????
…I beg your finest pardon?
How it feels skipping all the merge dragons and dragon city ads as a dragonvale player
True. Oh so true. Dragon City ads are getting out of control.
Happy 4th of July!!!
I made these cupcakes last night. Always enjoy celebrating my country’s Independence Day.
Yesterday I finished watching Ultraman (1966)
My only experience with this franchise was seeing a couple of clips from the Netflix movie, so essentially I went into this series blind. I'm also charmed by old kid shows easily, and thought I might have a good time.
I loved it. More than I expected.
The first episode has Ultraman accidently kill a human in pursuit of a monster and is so guilty about it he merges with him in order to save his life. Somehow that got me hooked.
Then I ended up absolutely adoring the Science Patrol. Fuji and Ide were my favorites. Hayata is a charming protagonist, even if I didn't see much of him. Arashi's main focus episode almost got me to cry. I really liked Hoshino's arc of becoming a member as well.
Plus Ultraman himself was pretty interesting whenever he was allowed to do more than fight. Like saving a monster created by children or talking about how much he's grown to care for Earth and it's inhabitants.
And don't get me started on the plot of each episode. There were mysteries that kept me confused; stakes that actually had me on the edge of me seat at times.
The version I got from my library had a problem, though. The English dub would suddenly go to Japanese for a little bit of time. This would happen randomly every episode. So I had to keep translated subtitles up in case I ran into that. The result was me watching two different versions of events sometimes. But even that only added to the experience. I was interesting seeing what was different.
Long story short: I wish to own a physical copy of this show. And would recommend it to anyone who asks.
(As a bonus here's one of my favorite Ide quotes.)
I’ve been playing DragonVale for about two months now and might make a separate blog just so I can track my progress. I’ll still update this one, I’m just making a little side project that’s all.
I wanted to show off some scratch art I got at Dollar Tree where I scratched off everything but the characters in the picture. Just thought it looked cool.
Jotting down little things from the Batman AU I made but am never going to properly create part 2:
This is essentially how Scarecrow and Poison Ivy met. They went on a heist together on a later date and have been friends ever since.
Hey, look what I found!
$25 at my local Walmart. I didn’t get it since I already blew my budget for this month, but it’s a cool find nonetheless.
Jotting down little things from the Batman AU I made but am never going to properly create part 1:
Strawberry blond Jason Todd. When he first became Robin he dyed his hair black so that people would think he was Dick. When Noctorna gained custody of him, she convinced him to keep his natural hair color. Bruce was initially against it, but eventually came around. Even after he got him back Jason didn't dye his hair after that. Somehow nobody ever figured it out.
*dry food crunches* Ridiculously small kitten: “Myam myam myam. Njam njam njam njam njam njam njam! Myam myam myam nyam nyam myam. Mmmam. Mrrrrram. Meep!”
Oh here it is again. The best video ever

Must… reblog… always…
@quarra @xantissa the sounds… it’s so cute!
If this is going around and I don’t reblog it, something is wrong
Too cute...
New 52 and Year One can bond very well over their terrible childhoods, and get along well enough… And then there’s BTAS…
Help I love this!
Especially BTAS Jon. Everyone seems to forget that he was a little menace as a kid.
The Lucky Charms mascot Has a Weird relationship with water
I wanted to make a longer version of this, but I forgot when St. Patrick's Day was this year.
On the official lucky charms website there's a section dedicated to what leprechauns are and what they do. One bit goes as follows:
"Starting life as water fairies..." I heard about that, but I find it interesting that General Mills decided to keep that little detail.
We actually get to see an example of this in a commercial from 1991
It shows that Lucky can breathe underwater just fine... but his powers don't work, for some strange reason?
There's another commercial from 1999 where he tries to use his powers during a rainstorm and they didn't work properly.
So Lucky the Leprechaun's main weakness is water, but he can breathe underwater due to his ancestors so don't try to drown him.
just another monday
You can only reblog this today.
I missed my chance last year. Not gonna let it happen again
>:)
My Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 Predictions I guess..
How does it feel being correct?
