i love our flag means death so much but one main reason is focus on middle-aged queer people. we never get to see older queer people in media, and this lack of representation makes the future seem grim to younger queer people. we can live long happy lives. we can find love at any age. we can always change our lives for the better. we can discover ourselves at any age.

What pisses me off is that these porn and aesthetic accounts could be tagging their shit as gothic and not goth and then they wouldn’t be encroaching on a subculture and spreading misinformation

And of course they start to pick up on other tags used by people tagging the music so tags like “goth goth” and “actually goth” are being filled with non-goth stuff
