She was soaring above the world again, out and about, to give a sense of timeline, it had been about 2 months since the reunion of MT and her amalgam, she took a deep breath as she landed and looked around, sure no one was around, then began slowly setting up a shooting and training range, setting up training dummies, setting up targets that have a weird design, muttering something about “that op gal sure knows her stuff”, as she set up the place, even cutting wood using her giant knife and forming a rudimentary house out of interlocked wood and fenced off area to create the borders of the training area, it was simple, but it was effective work in a short amount of time, being simple didn’t hurt, and so, she began practicing with her weaponry, her drill, her knife, and her nanite railgun respectively, even swapping using which hand was which testing herself as she tried to seemingly train for…something
Whatever that something was mentally important
“That should be good”
She said as she took a break for a moment, though shortly resumed training only 5 minutes later
The Amalgam had also been flying. They did it daily, feeling more secure seeing everything in its place. They had a home again, and they weren't going to let anything happen to it. They soared over the forest, scanning the tree-line. They screeched to a halt, noticing a clearing that wasn't there before.
"Someone's down there."
"It looks like a shooting range. We shouldn't get in the way."
"Why don't we go say hi? We might make a friend!"
"Do we need more friends?"
"Always."
J was skeptical and V apprehensive, but the fusion ultimately dove into a tree at the edge of the clearing, crouching on a branch. They had gotten better at balancing by now. Pastel yellow eyes peered from the shadows. The sight would've been intimidating if not for three voices piping up cheerfully.
"Heya!"
"We c-come in peace! Don't shoot please!"
