This is your friendly (but not so friendly) reminder that FEMALE MUSES matter just as much as male muses. It is insane to me how many people seem to value male muses so much more than female muses. There are fucking LOVELY female muse writers out there. Female muses both canon and OC that have brilliant backstories. Female muses with so much to offer rather than just for shipping and smut material. Female muses who kick ass. Female muses who have been through hell and back.

Female ocs don't get nearly enough attention, and I blame self-inserts/low-creative writers for this. Thus legitimately good female ocs, with decent backstories and fun worlds go completely ignored.

Hi, as an autistic queer person who’s not cis and stuck in a bad situation at home, I project onto the characters I connect to the most, especially in my writing. So if I wanna make the toughest, most strongest and badass male character into a goddamn puppy dog who’s pampered and loved and treated like something precious, I’m gonna fucking do that, because I never had that. Not once. The only person in this world who genuinely loves me lives too far away to give me the kind of pampering and support I desperately crave.

This is why autistic people can’t have anything nice. Because I do this, and I read peoples’ steamy hot shit takes about how it’s “insulting” to the character. People like that make me realize that they can’t be trusted. No one can be fucking trusted, because everything I do as an autistic person is questioned and pulled through the wringer of cringe culture.

Either shut the fuck up about your shitty takes or post them somewhere I can’t see them. Because now I wanna die even more than usual because you look down on people like me for doing something that makes me feel even the smallest bit happy.

God forbid an autistic queer person be happy.
