Another RPG Headcanon
Chrono Cross:
Marbule isn’t the name of the southeastern island, just the demihuman settlement located there. The island is officially called Black Dragon Isle, but most people have forgotten that the Black Dragon lives there, and since Marbule is the only other thing of note on the island, they just use that name for the whole island. As a side note, “Marbule” may have some sort of meaning related to the Black Dragon in the demihuman language.
