“Why did the mushroom go to the party? Because he’s a fungi!”
“----- and how is my life any of YOUR business?”
“And why would I be interested in that?” Alecto didn’t even look up, too annoyed that someone had tried to bother her while she was working. This was why she usually avoided the library, preferring to sit in the common room, where she claimed the best couch with Amycus. But she needed a change of scenery, her restlessness getting the better of her as she was finding it very difficult to sit still.
“Can’t talk now- I actually have the motivation to do homework for once.”
“So, how do you even quidditch,” Emmeline asked while staring at the goal post and wide field. Maybe accompanying her friend to the practice was kind of out of her comfort zone because for starters, she had no clue how the game even worked and secondly, she could barely mount a broom.
“I win again!”
James was more than happy after having been complimented multiple times on a job well done in the last quidditch match. He was walking down the hall with a puffed up chest, like usual, and a brighter smile than ever. Taking a deep breath he continued to happily stride towards class before knocking into another student in the hallway having not seen them. “Oh--I’m sorry.”
“Pompfrey thinks I should study to become a Healer. She’s talked to McGonagall and Slughorn -- and she wants me to work with her next year as I prepare for my NEWTs.” Andromeda ran her hands into her hair, a happy smile on her face. While she had no intended career path, the opportunity was amazing.
