Rubber tree - near Bago, 2017
Rearranged our home yesterday, from the furniture to the main plant collection. I'm really happy with how it turned out. The plants seem more included in our living space and less off to the side. My son even helped me by spraying them with water this morning. With how dry it is here, they always appreciate a good mist.
monstera deliciosa x rubber tree
two of my oldest plants, outside for the summer. with that being said, the rubber tree has been brought back from near total death many times, that’s why she’s a little bald. <3
I tried it again. Didn’t take as long as I thought. (Didn’t count how many skips💔💔)
Wtf trash room score????? This was fully in a garbage bin......
Variegated Rubber Tree (Ficus elastica 'Ruby') 🌱 Gardening Australia s36e01
Ficus elastica is commonly called the rubber tree because its white coloured sap makes rubber, which is a key ingredient for tyres and many more rubber-based products. Ensure the sap does not meet your skin as it can cause irritation. Ficus plants have extremely invasive roots so it is strongly advisable to keep them in pots or containers rather than planting them in the ground.
