Newt deserves an award for being the best boy today because apparently I didn’t latch his cage shut last night, the door was just pushed closed, at any point during the night he could have just nudged the door open and been loose in their room. Instead he stayed in his cage all night and waited until I came down in the morning and looked at him to show me that he could push the door open and leave.
