⋆˚࿔ do you think money can buy happiness? 𝜗𝜚˚⋆
I was gonna save some of these for later but i have litro no restraint im answering them all at once..
Okay canon poor ppl opinion so im allowed to say this (jokes) but tbh to an extent yeah 😭 its like.. until youre at the level of money where you can like.. live comfortably and eat properly (and healthily not just HAVINF food bc trust it impacts more than u expect) and have an average lifespan then money doesnt buy happiness anymore. Like sure u can get fun stuff but if you can live happily then thats the point money doesnt matter anymore. Also i feel like it kinda works like- the opposite way too? Like u see it w a lot of celebs or tiktok influencers or whoever, where they get a fuck ton of money dropped into them and get rlly lost in like materialism and become OBSESSED w hoarding wealth n stuff (scrooge era fr). Tbh i feel like u see it w all those bs financial alpha male ppl on tiktok and stuff, where theyre like ‘ur 25?? I made two BAZILLION DOLLARS at 25!!!’ Bc you can tell their life centers completelt around money and tbh its rlly sad 😭 ESPPP when these ppl glamourise the sw industry (support ppl in the industry, not the industry itself to clarify giggle) bc you can tell they have NO interpersonal connections and seek out human affection either by hired ppl or attention online. Its why i hateee those tiktok financial stuff sm bc like.. i hate to say it but they have a poor person attitude w a rich person life, yk!!! They use their money like they need to spread their pay between bills and food and its like.. mate you could buy a maccies franchise.. go read a christmas carol.. or maybe get a gf..
Omg can i also mention now that i think abt it how like i feel like its only rlly ppl who grew up comfortably that kinda dodge this?? Like kids of rlly rich ppl are basically always fucked up (either from neglect bc business running parents or their parents r wankers or whatever else) but people who grow up poor tend to struggle to lose that like survival mindset? Like the tiktok ppl i was talking abt, i feel like a lot of them def have financial anxiety and stuff bc its just how they grew up!! So when ppl grow up at that comfortable level, theyre in that kinda sweet spot between not worrying abt money, but also understanding that its importanr, yk?? Gonna fact check myself in a min but i SWEAR bill gates is like that. Grew up okayish off, but still had to get a job and everythint? Again gonna fact check this but SWEAARR DOWN
^ OK UPDATE!! Erm im wrong but i THINK im not TOO wrong giggle.. he went to priv school and harvard and allat BUT his parents did work (one of them was a lawyer and the other one was a director for a company or sumet i forgot the name of but it sounded techy). BUT his grandad was like a bank president?? But from what im looking at its not like a shareholdery thing or a status thingy its more like.. the guys who vote for the pope??? Idk i dont get this ahit dont quote me but ANYWAYS. I feel like hes kinda an exeption bc like. His parents r very well off BUT they did work and dint just like go to dubai and dodge taxes (i hope) so he is kinda in that level?? Like def on the upper side but still there.. or maybe his parents just arent wankers idk 🤷♀️
