Our first works for Day 1 are now available in the AO3 collection — be sure to check back later in the day to see if other works have been posted!
Also, don't forget to tag any social media posts with #RuLehendsWeek2025!
As a reminder, each "day" of this fest begins at midnight KST, but will last over 40 hours (until the day ends in ALL major time zones).
We'll do our best to reveal works within a few hours after they're submitted, but please forgive us if we take longer — we need sleep, too!
As always, please don't hesitate to use our Tumblr ask box or our DMs if you have any questions that aren't already covered in the AO3 FAQ. Can't wait to see what you all create this week!
This is wayyyy late, but thought I'd compile a guide to my submissions for RuLehends Week 2025!! The collection link is here; in addition to my works, def check out all of the submissions. I was thrilled with all the entries we got! Thank you so much to everyone who participated, and yes, I am hoping to host a (slightly shorter) version of the same fest this upcoming December :)
There were, actually, two beds in the dorm that Jaehyuk shared with Siwoo, not that it mattered in the slightest.
2. Want Me Dead (13,500 words, rated E) - Prompts: Separation, Parents
As Siwoo becomes disenchanted with his life on Olympus, he finds solace in an unexpected place.
A RuLehends retelling of the myth of Hades and Persephone
3. Left My Head and My Heart on the Dancefloor (3,000 words, rated E) - Prompt: Lehends-centric
A stranger takes Siwoo home.
4. Run Through (2,500 words, rated M) - Prompt: Power
In which Jaehyuk is a married billionaire superhero and Siwoo is just some freak. Green Arrow Ruler x The Flash Lehends, inspired by stirring_lights' DC AU
5. I Truly Tried to Be All Bark (4,000 words, rated T) - Prompt: Dog
Sometimes, Jaehyuk wished a human’s bite could change him into a normal man.
Wolf Hybrid Ruler x Human Attorney Lehends
6. The Incredible Park Jaehyuk (1,998 words, rated G) - Prompt: Ruler-centric
'So you're the incredible Park Jaehyuk.'
Six words that would haunt him for years.
Thank you also to everyone who suggested these prompts; you certainly gave me a lot of great ideas to work with. I had a wonderful time writing all these, and can't wait for next year's fest!
We're excited to share our official prompts list for RuLehends Week 2025! We can't wait to see what you create! Details and plain-text versions of the prompts can be found under the cut below. Further info can be found in the FAQs on our AO3 profile linked here.
If you have any questions that are not addressed in our FAQ, feel free to send us a DM on this account, or message Fish @feliciadotcom directly! If you'd like to ask a question anonymously, you can do so in our ask box.
At the end of each day, a Daily Roundup will be posted to showcase all the works created for that day. All AO3 works will be included, as well as any social media posts that use the tag #rulehendsweek2025. You're also welcome to DM us your work to ensure that you'll be included.
This is a fest celebrating Korean players and we anticipate submissions from across the world, so we will be operating on Korean Standard Time (KST). However, Daily Roundups will only be posted after each day has ended in all time zones. In the spirit of the fest, we encourage you to post your work on the day corresponding to your prompt(s). Late posts might not be included in the Daily Roundup, but are still welcome! Our AO3 collection will stay open for any stragglers until January 4th, 2026.
You are welcome to create in any medium, on any platform, and in any language. We're open to any creative output you can think of: fics, art, moodboards, music, podfics, translations, poetry, collages, edits, and more! Our only suggestion is that fics be between 1,998 and 27,000 words, but we won't be enforcing this strictly, so don't worry if you're a little under or a little over!
Please note that no works created with generative AI, even only partially, will be accepted or acknowledged. Anything known to be created with the use of generative AI will not be accepted into the AO3 collection or mentioned in the Daily Roundup.
PROMPTS LIST
We created these with the intention to inspire creative interpretations and lateral thinking. We welcome you to be as literal or as indirect as you wish. On multi-prompt days, you are not obligated to use more than one. Please see our AO3 FAQ for more info!
DAY ONE: Gen.G 2022 | Prince & Princess
This is a two-prompt day. Our first prompt focuses on Ruler and Lehends during Gen.G’s 2022 roster—as roommates, teammates, and a botlane duo. Works can, but don’t have to be, partially or wholly set during 2022.
Additionally or alternatively, you can use the prompt “Prince & Princess”, which originates from the fan name for the bot duo that year, but can be reinterpreted however you wish. To reiterate: for this day, and all other multi-prompt days, you don't need to use all the prompts!
DAY TWO: Introduction | Separation | Reunion
Our first three-prompt day invites you to interpret or reimagine a fundamental moment in RuLehends’s partnership: how they met, how they break apart, how they manage to find each other again.
DAY THREE: Lehends-centric works for Siwoo's birthday!
Happy birthday, Siwoo! This is a one-prompt day for any and all fanworks focused on Lehends. This can mean art of Lehends, character studies, Lehends POV fics, or any other works where he is the central figure.
DAY FOUR: Gold | Heat | Power
We’re informally calling this “Dynamic Day”! The midway point of our fest offers three prompts relating to potential points of tension or imbalance in our ship.
DAY FIVE: Protects | Provides | Parents
This three-prompt day encourages a look into how Ruler and Lehends care for themselves, for each other, and/or for other important people in their lives.
DAY SIX: Dog | Competition | Possessiveness
Woof. Bark. Growl.
DAY SEVEN: Ruler-centric works for Jaehyuk's birthday!
Happy birthday, Jaehyuk! This is a one-prompt day for any and all fanworks focused on Ruler. This can mean art of Ruler, character studies, Ruler POV fics, or any other works where he is the central figure.
A bit of a belated Daily Roundup for Day 3 (sorry, Siwoo!) — merry Christmas to those who celebrate!
Today's works list includes three fics and a playlist. Thank you to everyone who created something for Lehends Day! Works will be linked below the cut.

As a reminder, you can still submit works for a previous day's prompts anytime before the fest ends! Daily Roundups will be posted after a day ends in *all* time zones (40 hrs. after it starts in KST).
Don't forget to use the #RuLehendsWeek2025 tag for posts about the fest!
can i post as anon for my works? is there any process for that? (im quite shy cause i think my username might give away who i am, and i prefer staying hidden for now.....) ... thank youuu!
Thanks for asking; you absolutely can! We can't set it as anonymous for you, but you can anonymize it yourself by adding your work to both our collection and the anonymous collection (by searching "anonymous" in the collections function — see screenshot below for reference). Doing so will also prevent us (the fest admins) from seeing your username. Hope this helps!
Hi everyone! As an FYI, we'll be posting the last two Daily Roundups a little later than usual, in order to give folks some more time to work on any last-minute submissions. Don't forget that the collection will close on Jan. 4th!
