I did it!
I did my run plan and it was amazing! This was my plan (the second one is jog for 30s, sprint for 15s, jog to walk for 15s all for 10 intervals) vvv
The first interval set was great. It was tough when I hit the 4th interval. My legs were feeling so heavy, my back was hurting a little and so was my heel but I really pushed through it and I finished strong. I didn’t feel any pain after this set though so that’s good :)
I did a 10 minute walk in between these sets and I felt good starting the next set.
This set was rough lol I really pushed it and the sprints were so rough. My legs were so heavy and I just wanted to walk the whole time but I know that if I pushed through it then I would feel awesome. At the 5th interval I was dead. I was exhausted and I wanted to walk. I made it 3 more intervals taking a couple of extra seconds to walk but once I got to the 9th interval I knew I just needed to take that break. So I walked for that entire interval. On the 10th interval I finished strong and I did the whole thing!
I am very happy with myself today! I love running so much and this run made me remember why I started running. I feel accomplished and happy!
