Never underestimate the power of a compression sleeve on your leg
*gets slight pain in shin* IT'S A STRESS FRACTURE I KNOW IT MY RUNNING CAREER IS OVER THIS INJURY IS GOING TO RUIN MY LIFE WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE
sometimes doing the right thing is much harder than doing the wrong thing. Like today for instance. I so badly want to run and train for my summer races, but my cold from last friday is still here, hanging out. I know I need to r e s t. I pushed through friday and saturday but that may be why i'm still hacking up my lungs. Jennelle, you can r e s t. You aren't going to lose your fitness. You do not need to run today. Heal yo' self. What feels harder is often better in the long run. No pun intended lol.
I will do a recap later, but here's the most exciting news first.
Ran a half marathon... and didn’t lose a toenail! I have one that’s very questionable so I thought for sure that baby was going to be a goner.
@ that creep that commented on my flat chest in my ask box: small boobs big dreams 🖕🏼
Pretty feet ;)
Only if you want to see a toenail fall off from my trail run last weekend 😂😂
So I work at a New Balance store (where I now get an employee discount) so someone please tell me why I want to buy Brooks next time I need new running shoes (even though my last pair didn’t work well for me).
These are the dilemmas I don’t need in my life
