Has anyone ever had this like specific injury on the inner side of your foot in the bottom and side?? I feel like maybe it’s not a stress fracture cause I took 7 weeks off and ran and it still hurts like hELL! I wonder if it’s tendinitis ?

Runner friends, some advice?
As I’ve posted, I’ve decided to use quarantine to finally teach myself to enjoy running. I’ve spent 31 years loathing it, though, so I don’t really know where to start and as such have some questions.
1. Is it bad to have a strike that falls on the ball of your foot/rolls to the outside of your toes when you follow through? (I hope I described that right.)
2. How often is too often when it comes to going out? Right now I’m aiming for every other day (and mostly walking) but I’m so bored that I’d like to go more frequently if it won’t be detrimental. I have a feeling this is one of those YMMV type of things that depends on when one’s body says to sit the fuck down, but it’s worth asking.
3. What are some of your favourite exercises to boost your running ability? While I feel like the basics you learn in gym like squats and lunges etc are probably still very useful, I’m always looking for something a little more interesting, and maybe knee friendly, since mine yells at me the second I even think about doing squats.
Thanks in advance, pals!

Day 4. Tell us about your first race or when you plan to start!
My first real race was a 15k race last July. It’s a small race, but it’s local so easy to participate in and a route that I can practice on.
When I ran the race I had really ran only 10ks and a few longer long runs so it was mostly just getting to the finish line. And also race experience - running with a bib feels different. It was nice to have people cheer us on during the run etc. Also there was a race official biking behind me for some time at the beginning - I guess I was the last runner at that point. Day 5. What’s your favorite distance to run or race and why? I don’t think I have a favorite yet. I’ve only ever run 2 10ks (not a race), 15k and half marathon. No favorite distance yet. But the 10k event might be my favorite. Day 6. To you, what’s the hardest thing about running?
Getting out of the door, definitely. I geet anxious and feel bad about myself at times and then going out of the front door becomes the hardest part. After that everything usually goes fine.
Also cross training, because I haven’t yet found a way to cross train that I enjoy.
Day 7. Who supports you the most with your running goals and why do you pick them? My mum. She goes on long runs with me (or she walks briskly and I run sloooowly to keep my heart rate low). I’m also thankful for my friend and my sister who both have offered me a place to stay and a shower to use when I have participated in races or events. Also cheered me on and kept me company before and after the race.
It's time for running questions (Halloween week edition): What is the best costume you've seen during a race? Bonus questions: What is your favorite themed running race or event? What is your favorite candy? 🏃♂️🏅🎃🍫👍

Running Questions:
I thought of this one yesterday while pacing a half marathon and seeing a runner with a stroller. Have you ever run a race and been passed by someone pushing a stroller? How about a young child passing you? Someone running barefoot? Did that sight demoralize you, or make you dig deeper?

Day 2. Why did you continue to run?
1. I enjoy running.
2. I want to be physically active to be in shape - my job is mostly desk job.
3. I keep signing up for new races and events for new challenges which keeps me excited and sort of forces me to run.
4. I want to get better (mostly faster) at running.
