Ooh!!! PoLietRus in a haunted house?
eee.
"Lithuania," Russia called, and Lithuania thought about reminding him to lower his voice, maybe even moan a little, if he really wanted him to believe he needed to be taken care of. “Lithuania, I am very cold.”
"It’s because the heating’s not working," Lithuania answered. He’d made sure that nothing lurked in the shadowed corners of the room before sitting down at Russia’s feet. Besides him, Poland snorted.
"Aren’t you used to it anyway?"
Lithuania glared at him.
(A long wail echoed from the basement - which all three of them tried bravely to ignore.)
"Russia’s ill, Poland," Lithuania replied, voice more-or-less steady.
"Ill my butt. He’s been walking through the snow for, like, the better part of the day and his huge nose’s barely even red!”
Russia, unphased, smiled sweetly. The curtains blew from the shut window, shadowing his face.
"Lithuania, my dear," he said, voice kind yet vaguely menacing. "Would you please get me a blanket?"
Lithuania shivered.
"But - the blankets are downstairs."
As if on cue, another wail resonnated from the dark shape of the basement door, and invisible chains rattled in the kitchen - or maybe that was the bathroom (but who would use chains in a bathroom?)
"Yes," Russia simply said. "But Poland has one, and I am just a little bit jealous."
Lithuania felt his heart drop. God only knows what he’d find there…
He turned towards Poland, to tell him he loved him, just in case he didn’t come back -
- but Poland had risen to his feet and taken off his blanket. He wrapped it across Russia’s shoulders.
"There, you big baby," he said, sulking. "Happy?"
Russia beamed, and wrapped his arms around Poland’s waist, dragging him to his lap.
"Maybe we should cuddle? That might be better."
Lithuania sighed in relief.
Downstairs, the lonely ghost let out a dissapointed whine.
Before I go to bed -
Anyone has RusPol/RusLietPol fic requests, suggestions, or ideas?
I feel like writing these pairings, and since we're expecting thunderstorms tomorrow I'll probs write!
so yeah. anything?
rus/liet/pol!!! i just.. want to see more words about them, honestly, sob
Okay! Well, I like them a lot, because I think the three of them together balances a lot of what I like less about the other pairings: they've all had pretty rough history, obviously there's been bad stuff... all over, yeah. But everytime that history would threaten to come in the way of a couple, I think the third would be there to even things out a little. Same goes for their personalities. Like, Lithuania has more trouble standing up for himself with Russia, but when Poland's there, it gives him confidence he needs. Poland can really be a smartass when it comes to Russia, but Lithunia calms him down. Lithuania and Poland can have lots of arguments about really simple things, Russia helps them see it from another perspective. Russia's really happy about the fact that they're not with him because they feel obligated (he knows Poland wouldn't do that and wouldn't let Liet do that either) but because they want to.
Honestly? I just. see it as really sweet. There can be some darker parts, but in general, my headcanon for that threesome is a very fluffy, happy, optimistic headcanon universe. It's my feelgood OT3, as strange as it sounds, ahah.
