Hello again, this time I have two questions. Is sonic in your cave tails AU and if he is, does he have any type of brotherly bond with tails? I imagine that he'd be secretly watching kit like a hawk, worried that this little baby man will break his brothers heart.

Second question, does tails loaf like a cat? Cause I've had the image of tails loafing with his arms at his chest, Kit popping out of his chest fluff screaming "It's a trap, a adorable trap as tails casually shoves him back into the fluff stuck in my head for like two weeks.

Sonic does have a bond with Tails in the CaveTails au, but it's pretty different from how they typically meet/bond in canon/other aus. I'm being vague because I don't want to spoil it, but I'm sure it would hit all the right spots for typical enjoyers of brotherly bond Sonic+Tails even if it's not quite the same. With that in mind, yeah, I could definitely see Sonic being overprotective regarding Tails' naive and innocent little heart. Kit better watch out!

Hello, big fan of your stories. If it isn't a spoiler, I've been wondering if you think red star Hamal is destined to follow the same path as the bishop's? By that I mean, do think that they'll eventually ruin someone's life, like theirs was ruined and this person take them out?

It is a bit of a spoiler. There’s another fic I’ll do after Reconciliation; it may end up being the last one I do for this universe.

The sphinxes’ dialogue in Shadow of Death does offer hints:

“O the mighty Lamb, come at last to free their love. Come see, sisters, gaze upon the terminus of divinity.”

“Long has nature sought to balance divinity. The First Gods realized their own mistakes too late, and wept for the world.”

“The terminus of divinity is Death. The Lamb, the godkiller to end all others.”

“Light must cast shadow. There can be no end without a beginning.”

“You will bring balance. You must if this world is to continue.”

There’s also been a hint or two in Reconciliation, but I won’t call those out just yet. ;)

But addressing the endless cycle of destruction and suffering that godhood has caused is absolutely next on the docket.

Hello, I was wondering if you have any sonic fic recommendations?

Sure! Here are a few that have left an impression on me:

led clock faces by @hetchless (WIP) Notes: I'm a big fan of the tone and rotating perspective between characters. You can tell there's a lot going on with the world-building and I'm excited to see where it goes! Every nugget of world-building or alternate characterization has me wishing for more. It's also criminally underrated, so I must express support and ask that you check it out as a fellow sci-fi AU writer.

do gems conduct electricity? and good fences make better neighbours by @chaoxfix (Complete one-shots) Do gems notes: Fascinating Rouge and Sonic character study based in an AU where Eggman used Sonic as a battery for his machines during Sonic Forces. I've been a Sonic fan for a pretty long time, but I used to not bother reading fanfiction for the series because I had always struggled to find anything appealing to me. This fanfic both convinced me to keep looking for Sonic fanfic and also pulled me back into Sonic a little bit more, which resulted in me purchasing Sonic Among Us stickers at my local anime convention. And they say fanfiction is free! Good Fences notes: Big brings Tails+Sonic soup and reflects on how the world is changing due to human colonial activity on the planet. His perspective is interesting to read through, it grants something of a layman perspective that you wouldn't get through Sonic due to how involved he is in everything. If you go into the comments, you might find me (on anon, because I hadn't committed to this account yet) gushing about how I had similar world-building perspectives in regards to Mobian-human relations. The morose take on flickies here is also very sad in a good way. Great work all around.

Clarity by @lunapegasus (Complete one-shot) Notes: Shadow wakes up with an alien third eye. A really good conversation with Omega ensues, and I literally gasped out loud at something Omega says when I read it for the first time. If you like Shadow, you should definitely read this one.

I saw your new sea monster yakko piece and sketches and was wondering what ideas and thoughts you have for it?

I don't have a real au for it, but here's some things I had typed to some friends on discord copy/paste. (And smthn i sketched up last night)

The general idea is that full grown, Yakko spans the length of a boat from ears to tail, his completely black eyes take in the extremely low light and reflect it easier, and the glowing fins on their ears are a kind of lure for smaller fish.

The warners don't live on the ocean floor exactly, but their fish type are pretty deep sea

The siblings are rarely seen, yakko isn't even full grown, (nearly there, though) but he's very protective

They primarily burrow in the mud and stick the ear bits out to lure in prey, then use the opposable hands to snatch fish the second they come too close to the trap.

When max first hears yakko's laugh, it's like the cross beween a dolphin and a whale in a very strange way, high pitched in a way max wasn't expecting.(all roads lead back to yax)

Rising from the sea to protect his siblings in the dead of night so all you can see are the glow from his ear fins and the rings around his eyes

and he's got extremely sensitive hearing, so he hears some poacher for odd marine life and he moves quick as lightning, quick enough the splintering of wood is heard before it's seen

and then the ocean bleeds maroon

and the creature sinks back below the waves, not bothering to bring the prey down with him.

This was kill for protection. Not for a hunt.

get started, the relationship between sonics blood siblings and tails would have been so interesting, especially if he knew tails first. they could've done so much with his manic being envious of tails and sonics bond and tails feeling like sonic doesn't need him anymore.

I have honestly thought about this kind of thing A LOT. From what I know, Sonic had another adopted family before being taken in by Chuck. What if they were Tails' parents, and had him a few years after taking in Sonic. Then Chuck would raise both of them until the triplets met up, and Tails joins them.

With your scenario, I actually thought of something like that, but the other way around. Manic and Tails getting into an argument one day, only for Manic to shout that Tails isn't even Sonic's real brother. Hurt by those words, Tails runs away. Sonia and Sonic would get mad at Manic for this, and search for the kit. Sonic would even point out Tails lost his parents to Robotnik because of him, so he owes it to fox to be the family he never knew. By the end of it, Manic and Tails would make up, and begin to treat each other better.

I also love the idea of the triplets making Tails his own medallion to match theirs. ^_^

Yeah! I seem to be growing a collection of this question. One piece has always been a huge inspiration to me. The main reason I even made this comic was because I was comparing Luffy and Sonic and their ideologies.
