TGE WAY HE PULLS OUT THE PICTURE SHUT UPPP
i'm so conflicted about RvB: Restoration, mostly because
1) I had absolutely given up on that show ever getting a proper ending. It had really good endings in s5, s6, s10, s13 (and to an extent s15 and even s17, though those were *arc* endings, not good potential *series* endings), but I thought it'd just fade into oblivion after shizno and rvb0, killed by its own longevity when it should have gone out with a bang a long, long time ago.
2) I don't know when it comes out. "Fall 2023" is wayyy too vague for my liking and I don't want to get my hopes up.
3) I hated the shizno trilogy and rvb0 so I'm glad they're apparently getting retconned BUT I had mixed feelings about s15?? and I liked it more than I disliked it so I don't want to see it tossed out the window, esp since it focused so much on Grif and on Tucker, and they're my absolute favorites and I liked their arcs.
4) season 13 always my favorite so picking things up here again might mean a revival of interest for the Chorus arc in the fandom and I'm all for it!!!!
and 5) I'm SO SO SO happy that Tucker is apparently confirmed in Reconstruction, because s16, s17 and RvB0 (zero especially) did him SO DIRTY........ but what if they do him dirty again?? and also what about his s15 development that I love?? also there's a troubling number of main characters that aren't confirmed either and if it's because they didn't survive the Staff of Charon fight after all I will not take this well.
