RIP the quality
A piece I drew for the rtdraws event last month. It was inspired by Ballet Breakup, and was floating around in my head for a few months when the event finally gave me the motivation to draw it.
This song is so underappreciated. I love these scene so much because it goes from a bunch of intense fight scenes to another that’s far more emotionally charged, and Jeff Williams treats it as such. It really makes the scene far more meaningful and I will never get over it.
Once again I find myself hyping up for a new RvB season! (It starts on my birthday this year and i’m smug.) Anyway, while we wait, here’s another throwback to something that’s been in my wip folder for probably about a year. The original is so devastatingly simple but effective that making any kind of version was a challenge. Hopefully this will be acceptable, and we can all remember wanting to cry.
