#rwby loops

So... I have this really bad habit of plugging the RWBY loops to every analyst/fanfiction reader/fanfiction writer I run across on tumblr, because I am so proud of how a multitude of fans have collaberated and made the longest RWBY fanfiction on the web with its own mythos and silly traditions in a format where each chapter is in easily digestible snips, but with the hiatus on I’m sort of thinking now might be the time to do it.

I mean where else can you get such fun scenes as Weiss berating Ruby for feeding too much ice cream to Weiss’s pet honey badger kaijus?

(I apologize in advance for the early parts. There was minimal quality control and team RWBY erroneously assumed they were all straight for something like fifteen chapters--it doesn’t really drag the story down, but it can be an issue for some readers.)

So... let’s see who to tag for this, I haven’t really tagged anybody before... @luimnigh @kali-tmblr @alexkablob @chittychittyyangyang. Yeeeah, those four should be a good start? I guess? Anyway, here’s a magnum opus, still ongoing. You know, if you’re bored.

So... This has been bugging ever since she turned into one in the RWBY Loops, and now that I've read a certain abandoned fic of yours on AO3 I'm 90% sure it was your idea: Why flamingos in particular? Not complaining, this Yird nonsense just reminded me of it and now I can't get it out of my head.

Way way back when Penny and Ironwood activated in the loops, which was between volumes three and four, Weiss had set up a place to talk to whoever Penny’s activation partner was. She contemplated her vast array of looping powers, amongst them being the ability to turn into a flamingo.

That was mostly a ‘this is a silly word’ sort of joke. It meant pretty much nothing at the time.

Much later, Weiss would demonstrate that she still had the ability to turn into a flamingo. And that she did it when upset in a specific way.

Not to be out of the loop or anything but what are your “rwby loops” like what is that sgkigsgsjjg

i dont have ownership to anything rwby loops. those are a set of fanfiction stuff that was/is a collaborative effort written and continually added on to. RWBY shenanigans with “loopers” termed for the rwby characters that are aware and conscious they are repeating timelines or hopping through different timelines.
