wakes them up with breakfast (+ more wink, wink) in bed, making their tea/coffee exactly how they like it!

so soft and gentle all day, offering his arm to walk down steps, constantly grabbing things for his partner-- just doing this all more than usual, lovingly gazing at his lover after helping them each time

loves spending the day pampering them-- he's got the whole day planned and will make sure it all goes to plan

as mentioned before, breakfast in bed, then, while his partner showers and gets ready for the day, he walks out to the flower shop and picks up a bouquet for them when they walk out of the bathroom-- it's their favorite kind

they relax and enjoy each other's company until he makes lunch-- but so much of it was prepared the night before, it's done quickly so his partner isn't waiting too long

after lunch, they hike around the countryside together, enjoying the pleasant weather, then its right back home so he can set up a bubble bath for them and make dinner

dinner is fucking extravagant, he picked out the nicest candles and music, a kind smile across his lips as he watches his partner enjoy their meal

valentine's day is a whole big thing for him, he loves loves loves how happy his partner looks after they finish their meal, inhaling as he announces desert.

but there's something more to the sweet treat, lovingly scooping his partner up and stepping toward their shared bedroom, pressing kisses to their neck, humming into each one...

he's a bit less experienced with valentines day

wasn't exactly popular in his youth, but he learned a thing or two from just being out and about in the world

greets his partner with a bouquet of daisies with a little note wrapped around it, he bought chocolates as well, but he went for an actual chocolate store's wares, not a grocery store one

he wanted a quiet dinner at a small place he knew his partner liked in town, reserving a table for them

as much as he didn't love all the eyes on him, he really loved the idea of showing his lover off

beautiful as ever, he spared no time complimenting his lover on how gorgeous they looked, snaking a hand around their waist while pressing a kiss to their head

he bought a nice suit and everything for this, he kept checking to make sure he didn't spill anything, adjusting his coat-- he wanted to be a nice addition to their beauty

after dinner was a pleasant walk back through the park that sat between the restaurant and his place, smiling lovingly down at them while they giggled and clung to his arm

they stopped to look at the moon, but his eyes were never on the sky, they were always trained on his lover, the way that the cool light hit their face to carefully, tracing their features, kissing their skin

he leaned down to actually kiss them, breathing into it, muttering how much he adored them, how much he loved them

the walk back home was much slower, leaning into each other while his partner merely enjoyed his smile, practically dragging him back into the warmth of the home

maybe something more happened, maybe it didn't, regardless, he held them in his arms lovingly at the end of the night

this guy spent days on buying and setting up everything for the day-- he was set on recreating their first date together

it wasn't even supposed to happen-- things just aligned and they both had enjoyed a dinner far into the snowy peaks

he'd planned a dinner date for the two of them, but it was a bit of a trip-- an hour or so north into the mountains for a quiet meal in a rather nice place

he opened their door with red camellias, matching the soft maroon of his suit

he'd done a whole routine with his skin care, he just got his haircut, he trimmed his beard-- he'd done himself up to look good for them

dinner was beautiful, amazing

live music while they held hands, watching the snow fall outside the restaurant, giggling and laughing into each other the whole meal, talking until they closed

oh they'd left so late, nearly missing the last part of the date-- the dance in the room beside the dining area

softly, carefully, he held them, their head on his chest as they swayed gently with him while he pressed kisses onto their head

smothering his lover in compliments, his hands stayed on their waist, following their movements while the musicians serenaded the pair

by the time they both had gotten home, he'd opened up another bottle and giggled with his partner at the dining room table, gossiping about everything they'd seen at the restaurant

all of the couples and the silly things they saw-- giggling into their glass while they took another sip

price had his eyes on his lover the whole time, his smile never fading as they finished their drink. "I love you so much," he breathed out, watching their face turn from surprise to joy

practically leaping out of their chair, they pressed their lips onto him, pushing him further into his chair, somehow finding their way into his lap

he held them still, returning the kiss with just as much joy, only pausing a few times to stare lovingly at each other before returning to kissing

wake up to sloppy morning kisses (and something else if his partner's into it)

soap's over the moon if he can have his partner go on a full-out shopping spree and just carry all of their stuff for them

anything they want, he'll happily pay for and carry

he makes sure they take a quick detour back home so they can drop everything off before they go to the grocery store and pick up some stuff for dinner

soap's alright with cooking, but he adores spending time with his partner, so he'll get a bunch of stuff to make a big dinner with them

all of their favorites and more, it takes fucking hours

but he makes it fun

loud, fun jazz, singing along horribly and hugging them from behind and swaying with them to the music, sneaking kisses and a few bites of the meal in between song changes

yes he burnt something, but he figured he would, so he got extra ingredients for the dish so they both could make more

dinner is piled up plates giggling between the two of them at the table, stuffing their faces before bundling up and heading out

soap has a surprise; dessert under the moonlight

he bought their favorites plus a million blankets and warm tea/cocoa

the entire time he's staring at them like they hung the moon in the sky, lips in a permanent curl

he's not one for big fancy events, but he loves the simple stuff, loving his partner even more than that

while his partner cleans themselves up and gets ready for bed, he rushes the cleaning downstairs so he can meet them back in bed when they're finished in the shower

his partner woke up to him leaving little love letters, post-it notes, cards, anything and everything, with things he loved about them

from their laugh to their smile, their hugs to their hands, he left out no detail

but seemingly, gary wasn't home

unbeknownst to his partner, he was coming back absolutely loaded

he'd bought about a million flowers and baking supplies so he could make them something-- but he had to get them out of the house

he asked his partner to get groceries to stock up for the rest of the week, and while his partner slumped out to the grocery store, perhaps thinking gary was trying to get out of chores, he raced back home to start baking.

his partner got back late, only to open the door to a trail of rose petals that led into the kitchen

there was gary, pafts of flour on his clothes, hair, and face, smiling brightly behind his partner's favorite flavor of cake, several bouquets all around him-- it was like an avalanche of flowers

he lit up even more watching their face turn from confusion to joy, running up to him and pressing their lips against his, giggling with happiness as they held him close, thanking him for the cake

while they ended up cooking a quick dinner after, gary and his partner spared no time feeding each other bites of the cake, "accidentally" smearing frosting on each other's faces to gain the excuse of giving one another kisses

cleanup was... less than productive

it ended up with a flour fight, and even more of a mess to get clean. whoops

he didn't care, though, his partner was laughing, smiling-- just a pure bundle of bliss and that's all that mattered to him

he's not great with holidays, valentine's day especially, but his partner means so much to him

careful with his words, careful with his movements, he tried to wake his partner up with soft kisses, wrapping his arms around them, letting them wake up to something peaceful

he'd had a lot of negative history with physical touch, but his partner has helped him relearn physical affection and made him love it so much

bringing them a cup of tea/coffee, laying in bed for absolutely hours and hours

most of the day was just spent at home enjoying each other's company, but he did buy takeout from his partner's favorite restaurant and brought the two of them to a quiet spot in the countryside for a sunset dinner

he'd stare at his partner throughout the meal, ending up with them asking if they had something on their face, instead, he'd go on to say how lucky he felt (even if his words tripped over themselves)

without the wandering eyes of other people, he felt much more comfortable being close to his lover, pulling them close so they could envelop each other in their love

a bit nervously, he pulls out a small white box, wordlessly handing it to his partner

they'd take it, confused, and open it with a gasp

dozens of little folded papers reading off thing's ghost loved about them greeted their curious eyes, pulling open each one with an even bigger grin than the last

ghost-- simon -- is bad with his words, he's been sealed away for so long, hiding his emotions for years, but he's opened up more and more

even if it was a little corny, he still wanted to show how much he loved them

he and his partner grabbed their things and headed home, simon's hands lingering on their skin for moments that were far too long to be accidents

Opinion om halloween? And what do you think would the Task force wear. I feel like soap and gaz would be like the only ones to put in actual effort. And make really elaborate outfits. Although I could also see like ghost and reaper doing like a couples costume as odie and Garfield. I think prize would like totaly get a spooky fisherhat.

i did this last year actually but i think, given the story developing, their outfits have too

Price would do two outfits. one for his girls, and one for the team, firmly believing that the entire team would tell him that they were going to be animals, only for price to show up as a cat, ears and shitty makeup and everything, to see the entire team dressed differently LMAO

Gaz and Soap would go as barbie and ken. however, they would fight violently over who would get to be barbie to the point were Roach would have to step in, be ken, while both gaz and soap were barbies. But... Rigo wanted matching outfits with roach; to compromise, rigo went as another ken, and they were polygamous barbie barbie ken ken partners

Ghost and Reaper wanted to match, but something casual, something not TOO out there. so they tried to do a low-key jake sully and neytiri and... then got too excited and reaper painted her mask with neytiri's facial stripes and they both looked good as fuck

Any headcannons on the 141 and reaper interacting with one another? Like shit they do or how the 141 has felt towards her in certain moments in the story so far (for example reaper laughing at graves or reaper comforting gaz) we haven’t gotten much on how they feel about her out loud. I understand if you plan to keep that to your self for now but just thought I’d ask :)

really likes her :) looks up to her kinda like a sister

wishes she would open up a bit more, sometimes feels like things are one-sided with their conversations

but at a borderline view, he understands that she's probably got a reason for it

he's got so much trust in her, whatever she's got against graves, he knows that he deserves the hate

gaz's noticed that she's hesitated with touching a few times, but he's patient because ghost used to be too

starting to get kinda antsy around graves. why does she hate him so much? clearly something bad happened, but was it really bad enough to make her act like... that?

appreciates her doing all that during Christmas; it made him feel a lot better about his standing with his ex, and it really sealed the deal on how much he liked her

the way he thinks of her is like "reaper!! :D" not "reaper"

ghost used to be kinda hesitant too, so he gets it

doesn't really want to push affection or force her to open up, or anything; she's got a mask for a reason, he's not going to rip it off

even with that, he really really tries to get her to smile

he saw her laugh that one time at lunch, he so badly wants her to be happy like that again

he notices her little efforts to try and be nice, sweetening the blows of her insults with gentle punches

doesn't give a shit about how he used to feel about graves, he's on her side with whatever their tension is

Soap @ Reaper:

just wants his friend to be happy

he keeps trying to push a little more every now and again-- exposure therapy might be great for her hesitation with opening up-- but can read her body language pretty well, so when she gets tense, he stops

its obvious how little she cares about herself, and the scot fucking hates that

why can't she see that the team cares about her?

he'd take a bullet for her and he knows she'd do the same for him, but talking's so difficult for her.

wonders if her reasoning for being so brash is because of graves since they seem to have so much tension

soap still has a lot of trust in the commander though, but he understands that they had their issues, and whatever it was, it permanently fucked her up, and that’s slowly starting to turn him

Price @ Reaper:

really respects the woman, she's put a lot of years of training into her title and he thinks she’s owed more than what she gets currently

he thinks she deserves a lieutenant ranking at how much she has experienced, but the blacked-out pages in her files make him uneasy-- mostly because of her tension with graves

his view hasn't changed much about the commander, but this woman's quickly becoming like family to him, so he has his eyes up for the higher-ranked officer

he knows there’s something up; the distant looks during Graves’ briefings, the slight shift behind her teammates when the commander barks at his shadows, the way she never turns his back to him when they’re in the same room. Price knows this distrust and it doesn’t come from a bad prank

he sees little bits of his younger self in her; her efforts to protect her team, the stupid selflessness in her, the clear yearning to be in on the banter. It’s endearing to him

unintentionally sees her as a kid— maybe even his own

Ghost @ Reaper:

she used to be angry all the time, and when she’s wasn’t, she was distant. But that’s changed, and he doesn’t know why he likes that so much

there have been a few times that she’s opened up a bit more, the panic attack he calmed her down from, her mentions of graves, and the softness she’s had for her teammates, like that moment with gaz during Christmas

speaking of Christmas, those jokes— fuck, that stupid little plushie that he spent like an hour looking for in the shops? he really had to press down the smile that threatened to grow on his lips when she unwrapped it because fucking hell, he wasn’t expecting her to like it so much. it was just a toy… that he got because it looked like that cat she saved

but she’s not open like the others. even price lets down his walls every now and again, Reaper doesn’t explain shit at all

things started to click more after the infiltration mission when she broke down. she actively separated herself from her team and he broke that barrier because he wanted to help her. those words in themselves freak him out

even though she started out as someone who didn’t want to be around him, she’s clearly warmed up to him… enough to smile and laugh. he didn’t remember anything else from that lunch hour, trying to remember her lips curling and how her laughter mixed in with the rest of the DFAC.

he thinks about her so much and it terrifies him.

Gaz was relaxed as soon as she calmed down from the panic attack since she realized she was okay. His mind had been swimming with ideas on how to help her, does she need water? Extra blankets? He just wanted her to get better faster so she could get back to being normal Reaper. It killed him to see her go through so much shit-- but no matter what happened, she bit the bullet and just went with it. He respected her before, but man, that only went up tenfold after that.

Soap was pretty similar to Gaz, but he was actually watching her vitals. He was watching her breathing, how much color was in her skin, whether she was sweating or not-- His older sister taught him a thing or two about distant check-ups, this was especially important because Rigo said she didn't do well with physical touch, so he just kept watch from afar. He'd make sure she was getting better without making her uncomfortable.

Roach was a wilted flower in his seat from the very moment he sat down. She woke up agonizingly slow, then fought with everything she had when she came to-- Reaper was terrified and it was his fault. If he would have been able to help-- he could have done something!! He was distraught watching her sign her lack of self-care to him, still worrying about him even when she was bedridden. The pain he felt for her got better as her condition improved, but there will always be a small part of him that blames himself for her torture.

Price had been sweating bullets since they found her. He blames himself for her absence, but he knows why she did it. In fact, he would've done the same for any of the 141, but the fact that she committed so much to it makes him worry for her future. Watching her struggle to sign made his stomach churn with anxiety. If she was still trying to get back in the field when she was so fucked up, what is she going to try in the future? He wanted her to understand that people care about her and she deserved to be alive as much as everyone else did.

Ghost, oh that poor bastard, was in shit condition when he realized Roach had been found alone. He learned the hard way that Reaper was so selfless she was suicidal. But it was only further cemented when she refused to say a word to her captors after all of that-- and then wanted to get back into the fray right after that-- no. No, she was beyond stupid, and it was killing him. She looked so broken in the hospital bed, but evidently, she had so much fight left in her, swinging around, desperately trying to keep fighting for the freedom that she'd already won. While signing to Roach, she kept messing up, she had to fingersign half of her sentences, but Reaper was alive, and with all of the strength she could still muster, she was trying to comfort her team. She had all of his respect, even with her foolishness, and the amount of warmth that bloomed in his chest when she started to joke around again was sickening. Reaper deserved the affection that she gave out, he just wished she could see that

Your takes on the squad’s Halloween outfits ? 👀👀

Price will wear whatever his daughters want; fifteen years in a row he's dressed up. From going full Glam-Rock Freddy for his eldest to Bandit Heeler for his youngest, he will spend literally hundreds to make his kids smile.

Gaz loves group outfits. I mentioned this a little while ago, but he loves going to parties with the team and getting all matchy-matchy-- the only issue is that Soap loves pulling fast ones on him and managed to get him to come to the party in a slutty nun outfit. Even with it, he still thought he rocked it (he did, his ass looked amazing) (this happens almost every year)

Soap will try to deny it, but he also loves a bit of boob window every now and again. Gag costumes are his favorite-- so if he's strutting in with stilettos and Shrek clothes, he'll do it. Halloween's supposed to be fun, why not go all out?

Ghost will do the bare minimum. He'll wear a hat, maybe, but he won't want to. With that being said, if a hoard of children run up to him and ask him to dress up as Thanos or Hulk or something, he'll do it.

Roach likes to be matchy-matchy with Gaz, but he likes little changes. Sort of a Rin and Len sorta thing. He also likes the freedom to be silly and get into his interests, so you know what? He will go as Percy De Rolo-- no, yeah, he will get really dweeby with it.

Nadya hasn't gotten the chance to do Halloween stuff in so long, so it'll take some convincing, but she will get dressed up for it. She really really likes doing something subtly with the group; like if they're all going slutty, she'll show off her legs a bit, she'll get some thigh action in there.

Hii! Im a bit curious but how does Reaper think of 141 now?

When it comes to Ghost, I feel like it's pretty clear. Loves loving him and loves being loved by him. I feel like its unnecessary to go into extreme detail considering how much I've written it in RWYS lmao

Price is in a warmer spot. There's an evident affection between the two of them, but it's cranked up to tenfold considering how much he's watched out for her, especially with her mom. He didn't have to check in on her, but his adamance on making sure Reaper was in the right headspace has only made her feel closer to him.

When it comes to Gaz, there's probably nothing this guy can do to make her dislike him. Especially after he and Ghost helped her with the mini laptop heist in Graves' office, Reaper adores this guy all the fuckin' way. She's also glad that their shenanigans have made him forget his painful experience with his ex-- There's a full line of trust between them.

Of course, Soap hasn't changed a bit in her eyes. In fact, knowing that they shared some music taste and knowing that he knew about Ghost's affection toward her only made her like the guy more. Soap knows what to say and when to say it, even if she doesn't think at the time it's good to hear, she later realizes he was in the right. Again, not a single ounce of doubt in their mutual trust.

Roach knew about Reaper's crush but was still fair about it. He teased, he poked, but most importantly, he respected her. Considering how kind he'd been to her after everything that went down in Russia, she realized her worth because of how genuinely scared he was for her. She wasn't just some teammate-- she was his friend, and that meant the world and back to her.

Given that the entire team had also been so... cool with everything in Ohio, Reaper also felt more comfortable around them because they didn't react harshly.

what kind of dog does roach have? To me he seems like a lab or boxer kind of guy, and as someone who is into dog stuff this question has been in the back of my mind for a while.

i think roach found a little chocolate lab puppy in the rain a few years prior and named her something silly like ladybug or something. idk-- something especially sweet and cute for a big silly girl :)
