Megaland is a fairly light #IncanGold style of game, with some beginner level engine building woven into it. The art is amazing, and the game trayz are to die for. *Minor spoilers warning* ⚔️ We started the Near and Far campaign last night, venturing across The Broken Plains, the first map in the search for the mysterious artifact that will grant your ultimate wish. 🗡🌳💰🤖👑🌄⚔️🛡🗡🌳🌄 I intended to be good, I really did, but in my greedy quest ended up attempting to assault an old man (he handled himself and left me embarrassed), freeing the Red King from an underground prison and ultimately joining him in the slaying of merchants and entire settlements alike. It’s safe to say I’ve gone the murderous villain route on this one. ⚔️🗡🌄🛡💰🌳👑🤖🌳🗡⚔️ Near and Far is a fantastic story driven game that you can play as stand alone sessions or a overarching narrative. The art by @redravengames is beautiful, the stories are fantastic and immersive and the game play is very smooth, with other player’s actions being quick and interesting enough that you always feel involved in the game. ⚔️💰👑🤖🛡🗡🌳🌄🤖💰🛡 This is exactly the game I was hoping it would be, with my character going on a journey I wasn’t planning on, and me having to adapt my play style around the narrative.
