working on a pair of Tin Can Knits’ Rye socks and I really like them; I’ve got one done, and the plain knit heel seems very deep to me compared to the slipped-stitch one I usually use (no idea what the fit difference over actual miles will be like yet), but it more or less fits the shape of my heel, and they’re just! adorable! socks are so much more fun to knit when you like the color. I don’t even love the yarn otherwise—it’s a wiry discontinued superwash I find unusually splitty—but the color actually suits me, and now I want to knit 60 pairs of luxury socks.
