There’s this manga, The Future I Saw, that is making headlines the last few days and it is impacting the state of the number of tourists coming to Japan prompting the citizens of Hong Kong, China and South Korea to cancel their summer trips allegedly. According to the mangaka Ryo Tatsuki the country will sink into the depths of the ocean due to the tectonic plates that connect Japan and the Philippines in the Pacific region caused by the earthquake and a giant tsunami would swallow the region on the fifth of July.

It is basically the apocalypse. The well-known mangaka was said to have predicted the deaths of Freddie Mercury and Lady Diana, the earthquake in 2011, even the Covid-19.

I wonder if AA has timed it for the grim ending of her own story. Grim as in the destruction while eradicating her second main character. The Japanese deemed Ms Tatsuki their own Nostradamus, the one who predicts the future.

Did AA get her own inspiration from the doomsday mangaka???
