If you ended up in a D&D-style fantasy world . . . Would you be willing to try some monstrous food? I never really read manga before this year, but every time I saw the Delicious in Dungeon books on the library shelves, I couldn't help but think how interesting they sounded. This year, I finally decided to try them out, and I'm very happy I did! The story involves some very clever takes on different types of fantasy creatures, adventuring parties, and D&D-style dungeons. It really has some top notch worldbuilding! Plus, it's surprisingly wholesome in terms of character interactions. I will say that the first four books are the best, since they have the greatest focus on the things I really like about the series. Book five and onward shifts to involve and focus on much more large-scale storylines that I, personally, didn't enjoy as much. That's just me, though! Do you enjoy manga?
