sella couldn't help herself from laughing at the actor jumping out at her brother, his own reaction helping cover up her own heart racing. at least she wasn't the one who screamed this time. "no, definitely didn't scare easily, that was just a fluke, right?"
"if you want to borrow something, you're more than welcome to! you don't have to just look at them," sella said from the lounge she was on, working on some of her needlepoint as serena thumbed through her closet. "that one would look great on you!"

"you look so pretty, seriously." sella grinned over at aequa, having caught the sight of one of the other interns, just happy to find a familiar face in the crowd. usually sella was stuck around her family, wanting to stay close by most of the time, but she had tried to find some friends to chat with earlier in the night as well. "do you want to dance? we should dance. we never get to have that much fun at work, we should get the chance now. come on."

"oh, kriff, i'm sorry--" sella had been trying to just get back to the apartment, which was not a far walk from the white house, and she just wanted to get home, to be somewhere she knew that would be safe. but her shoulder collided with another, and when sella finally looked up at her, she recognized her from all the pictures. "wait, sorry, this is gonna be strange but are you ashley brown?"

"so.. you came with your girlfriend?" sella hadn't seen her brother much, the last time they spoke she knew she had sort of gone off on him over the self loathing that was going on. but, she just wanted a normal night. one night where her and her family could get alone. "what's her name again? ashlyn?"

"oh!" sella stopped in the middle of their walk into the museum, pulling allana away from the crowd for a moment as she nearly bounced on her heels to show them her hands. "look! i didn't get to show you before we left the apartment-- they're black like yours! i'm all goth now." she added with the biggest grin, knowing that the bows in her hair may say otherwise, but that was besides the point.

"i'm so kriffing tired of all of this." sella huffed as she entered her brother's apartment, going to hug him as he met her at the door. "first i'm in the hospital with samara making sure they're okay, and the next thing i know there's this kriffing emergency alert about people trying to kill each other."

"okay, i brought supplies, i brought provisions, you are gonna be set." sella said as she walked into her sister's home, dropping the shopping bags on sabina's counter before looking up at her. "you don't even need to go out for like.. at least a week and a half, you'll be completely fine..." she paused. "i might've gone a little overboard but i panicked."
