Actually now that I think about it, the Buffy parallels make sense. @dimples-of-discontent we literally open to a young woman in pink trousers sneaking into a graveyard in the middle of the night, wherein she enters the creepy private crypt with the name across the top to slay the monster all on her own.

Bobby’s resistance to Sam overestimating Maggie and sending her off to be killed doing dangerous things she wasn’t ready for does absolutely make sense now. I really appreciated Glynn setting us up to think Bobby was maybe not Bobby for half the episode, so that was super fun. Poor Bobby. At least AU world people seem to be more realistic about their own expectations and capabilities, and like, I guess that makes sense given it’s the end of the world. If you had issues you’d talk them out. So I’m not mad at Bobby any more. All my anger is reserved for Michael. That dick.

My dash is suuuuper quiet. I wish for time in the world to just draw Cas and Jack having their beach holiday hunt together and trying all the flavors of ice cream. I don’t have it. But I follow a lot of Cas fans I think, and what there was to say was just written right on the tin anyway. I’ll catch back up with gifs and stuff in the morning, but my dash is dead and nobody’s posted anything else since I started writing this...
