This fanfiction (The Shadow of the Simulacrum) offers a fresh take on the romance between Jesse and Sarah, intertwining it with Jesse’s dark past. Chronologically, it takes place before Sarah meets Ethan and Benny. You’ll finally discover how Sarah met her first love, and as Benny says at the end of the movie, “I can’t believe you dated that guy.” 😂
