a couple people have asked to put their ocs into space au so here they are hehe. i made this drawing a while ago but lost it for a while and then forgot i even had it... but since im all excited about space au i remembered it again and had renewed energy to go back and find it lmao

yeah everything under the cut is kinda old but its long so cut
sophie wanted to create an oc specifically for space au so here is 'wes notnef'. this was before wesley weston was a thing; in typical space au fashion, wes's concept came from a direct line of dialogue from the show-- when sam finds the class ring and misreads her name, saying 'who the heck is wes': well, this is her. so the concept behind wes is that shes pretty much the direct opposite of sam, personality-wise. shes an anubis (im saying far frozen so i can make her look like a west highland terrier, or 'westie' lol). sophie and i came up with some possible ideas for what that might mean, although idk how well i did them in this drawing: shes chipper and has a strong sense of collectivism and tradition to rival sam's individuality. she likes to leave people to figure things out for themselves rather than butt into their business.
on the right we have all-the-homo-2's oc ronny, who was a pre-existing dp oc. he said ronny could be ryan finn's apprentice or something, which i could totally see given the sort of nature im gleaning from ronny's bio! but at 12-13 years old, hes too young to be a space corps member that travels on missions and stuff, but i could totally see him as an apprentice for ryan until then hehe
i basically just looked at ronnys bio for more details to translate, so here are some thoughts: he lives on earth and is a major fan of Space Scout Star (instead of dani, since, unfortunately, it would be hard for him to have a way to interact with a deep space nomad! mabye once he joins the corps.) i have him here with his pet goldfish (from that gemstone planet czochra) in a fancy contraption
