despite being primarily an author, my contribution to May the 4th this year is a customised little set of IKEA drawers. it started as "I'll paint it black and keep it in a cabinet", progressed too "well maybe some logos", then the mood struck and well... for not having drawn or painted anything beyond vaguely defined stage props in a good decade or so, I'm happy with how it's coming!
(top is still a WIP obviously but will have some sabers up there too! Death Star is ref'd and traced; everything else is referenced but hand sketched/painted with lots of cursing.)
there was also a tattoo buuuut it happened earlier so...
