#SacredDatura in #Havasupai, also called #MoonFlower or #JimsonWeed. This stuff will kill you as it is a member of the deadly night shade fam. It is also a powerful psychoactive plant with some cultures utilizing it in ceremony or medicinally. I won’t touch it; too much respect but it is absolutely gorgeous. Datura is a great plant to work with if you are interested in working with nightshades it is a little safer for long term use than deadly nightshade if using it for chronic pain, arthritis, or other pain management issues. Datura innoxia- Mexican Datura aka Toloache. This was the first kind of datura that I ever grew. The leaves are large and ovate, not serrated like other species. They are a silvery grey green and fuzzy.
