Yamagata Division Bishamon Sentry are a rap group consisting of famous J-Pop idol, Saeko Sugi, salesperson, Niko Sugi, and restaurant owner/butcher and the leader of the division, Kenshiro Sugi.

The team color is lavender gray, a color that pales well with a multitude of other colors due to how light it is, yet isn't. Although a pale gray, at first, mixed with light purple, it fits well.

The group's symbol is that of a Japanese dragon, which symbolizes numerous things, including power, wisdom, longevity and good fortune, things that family constantly prays for, along with peace.

Each member has a dragon somewhere on their bodies or clothing. Kenshiro has an intricate dragon tattoo covering the majority of the upper right part of his body, Niko has a dragon charm on the collar of her school jacket, and Saeko has a dragon pendant around her neck.

The group's hand sign is what they call the 'Bishamon Triangle', which has each member standing together in a circle and joining their index fingers and thumbs together to create a triangular shape (with their thumbs at the bottom), which they then raise in the air. It symbolizes their unity as a trio and invokes Bishamonten's association with balance and harmony.

All three members of this family are descended from the historic and prestigious 'Uesugi' line from the Sengoku period. Like their ancestor, Uesugi Kenshin, they worship and venerate the Japanese god of victory, Bishamonten, whom they hope and pray will see them through this Division rap battle.

“Saeko-chan’s father? He was in the yakuza back in the day…? Aniki-san might know a thing or two. Butcher shop, now that’s a new one! We have an international chef already, but cutting meat is different. He’s nice from what I can tell with Saeko-chan, that must’ve been what Kamora-san was like before he was arrested. Don’t worry, the only thing I’m going to offer Saeko-chan is the safety I didn’t receive back in my days. If anyone is going to harm her, they’ll either have impaired hearing, impaired speaking…Or a mind wiping straight to the head if we wanna get serious~!”

Niko Sugi

“Saeko-chan’s older sister, nothings really popping out here. Taking care of the house, devoting herself to the family…We have the blank slate, though I’ll trust she has some intriguing stories. Fashion critic, hm? A step aside from all the models in that competition, so this is the intriguing part. Mai might have some experience with being in ENGEKI—nevermind, we’ve had way too many harsh memories. I’ll be ready to see what she brings to the table. Her battle instincts should be a spectacle.”

Saeko Sugi

“Saeko-chan, Stellar Senshi’s leader. I guess it’s nice to have an optimistic face in the industry every once in a while…Not even that, her talent surprises me for a younger idol. So I truly wasn’t enough for them after all, hopefully she doesn’t bother to apply for them, or she’s going to get her group dismantled for good. Her DRB standards are pretty well knit. Reminds me of the Kamora’s, maybe if Yuno was an only child. Just stay away from Chuohku, they will tear your insides apart and expect your mind to be forever destroyed…Haah, why do I of all people have to be blamed for perfection?”

“Another family oriented approach. Atleast they provide some interesting background? None of us are familiar with Japanese mythology, even Yuno had to check the books to find out about Bishamonten. I’ll have to take a trip out to Yamagata to find out more about them, maybe ask Saeko-chan about collaborating? Hey, it’ll take my mind off things for awhile laying in this hell of silence after dying three times. Three. Times! No home, hypocrite supporters, being mind hacked again and again!? W-what more could you want from us!!??”
