Yamagata Division Bishamon Sentry are a rap group consisting of famous J-Pop idol, Saeko Sugi, salesperson, Niko Sugi, and restaurant owner/butcher and the leader of the division, Kenshiro Sugi.
The team color is lavender gray, a color that pales well with a multitude of other colors due to how light it is, yet isn't. Although a pale gray, at first, mixed with light purple, it fits well.
The group's symbol is that of a Japanese dragon, which symbolizes numerous things, including power, wisdom, longevity and good fortune, things that family constantly prays for, along with peace.
Each member has a dragon somewhere on their bodies or clothing. Kenshiro has an intricate dragon tattoo covering the majority of the upper right part of his body, Niko has a dragon charm on the collar of her school jacket, and Saeko has a dragon pendant around her neck.
The group's hand sign is what they call the 'Bishamon Triangle', which has each member standing together in a circle and joining their index fingers and thumbs together to create a triangular shape (with their thumbs at the bottom), which they then raise in the air. It symbolizes their unity as a trio and invokes Bishamonten's association with balance and harmony.
All three members of this family are descended from the historic and prestigious 'Uesugi' line from the Sengoku period. Like their ancestor, Uesugi Kenshin, they worship and venerate the Japanese god of victory, Bishamonten, whom they hope and pray will see them through this Division rap battle.
Kenshiro - 🍦 What's your OC's favorite summer treat?
"My favorite summer treat…?" Kenshiro repeats the question, brow lifting slightly as he looks at the screen.
"Hmph. Well, if we're talkin' year‑round, I'd say grilled fish. Simple, reliable, tastes good no matter the season." He pauses, then sighs. "But Niko says that doesn't count as a summer treat. 'Too practical,' she says."
He rolls his eyes, but there's a faint smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
"So… summer, huh? Hmm... I guess I'd have to go with shaved ice. The plain kind. No syrup." He shrugs. "Cold, clean, refreshing. Cuts through the heat better than anything."
Then he adds, almost reluctantly:
"Saeko keeps trying to get me to try those rainbow‑colored ones with ten different toppings. Says it 'matches my vibe.'"
He snorts. "I don't know what vibe she thinks I have, but it's not that."
A beat passes. His expression softens.
"…But if it makes them happy, I'll eat whatever they hand me. Even the neon‑pink one."
Niko - 🕶️ What's your OC's summer aesthetic?
"My summer aesthetic…?" Niko repeats, eyes narrowing thoughtfully.
"Well, I'm certainly not one of those people who melt dramatically the moment the temperature rises. That's… unnecessary." She flicks a strand of hair behind her ear. "But I also refuse to sweat more than is absolutely required for survival."
She crosses her arms, considering.
"I suppose the closest label would be 'minimalist urban summer.' Light fabrics, clean silhouettes, monochrome palettes with one strategic accent color. Linen trousers, structured sleeveless tops, and sunglasses that actually fit your face shape... unlike whatever Saeko insists on buying."
A tiny sigh.
"People think summer fashion means chaos. It doesn't. It means discipline. Breathability. Intentionality. And above all..." she lifts her chin slightly, "...looking composed while everyone else is melting."
Then, with the faintest smirk:
"If I happen to start a trend or two while staying cool… well, that's hardly my fault."
Saeko - 🛶 Would your OC survive a summer camp scenario?
"Would I survive summer camp…?" Saeko blinks, then beams so brightly it's practically a jump‑scare.
"Survive? I'd THRIVE!"
She throws her hands up like she's announcing a concert.
"I mean, sure, I'd try to be a responsible camper, but five minutes in I'd probably wander off because, oh look, a butterfly!, and then suddenly I'm in the woods making friends with a raccoon I named Mochi."
She taps her chin thoughtfully.
"I wouldn't be a counselor. They have rules. And clipboards. And bedtimes." She shudders. "No thank you."
A beat.
"But I also wouldn't be the kid who gets lost on accident. I'd get lost on PURPOSE. Because adventure!"
She grins.
"And by the end of the week, I'd have a whole army of woodland creatures following me around like I'm some kind of magical forest idol. Niko would be horrified. Dad would pretend not to be impressed."
She leans closer to the screen, whispering conspiratorially:
"So yes. I'd survive summer camp. But the camp? …The camp might not survive me."
First to confess: Shisuta. Yes, surprisingly, the shy nun would be the first to confess her feelings, as Luis refuses to make the first move, preferring his partner pursue him to show they are serious.
First to apologize: Shisuta. Neither of them are likely to start an argument. And if they do, it's over something minute. But even so, Shisuta, who dislikes disagreements and violence, would be the first to apologize, even if she wasn't the one who initiated the fight. Of course, Luis would also apologize, though he's more likely to hold a grudge, especially if he feels wronged.
Most popular/charismatic: Luis. Being a well-known chef who's on good rapport with most of the people from the divisions (which is saying a lot), Luis is, by far, the most popular among the two. But charismatic? That's up for debate.
Best caregiver: Shisuta. This kind-hearted nun has a lot of practice when it comes to caring for people. She's done it for Aranai, Kisouna, and Yomi. Plus, her bedside manner is a lot better than Luis's.
Does the cooking: Both of them. But in private? Shisuta. Though Luis has more experience in the kitchen, he's usually too exhausted to cook between the two of them at home when he gets off work, so Shisuta takes the role. Of course, when he is off work, the kitchen is his, but most of the time, Shisuta is the one making a meal between the two of them.
Does the housework: Shisuta. Luis knows how to clean up around himself, having done it numerous times, despite the number of servants in his parents' household. But again, he's usually too busy to clean, so Shisuta takes care of it.
Speaks the most: Shisuta. Luis isn't really into small talk or speaking when he doesn't have too. Shisuta though, can hold a conversation with anyone. Plus, she talks more on her job compared to Luis who is stuck in the kitchen.
Designated driver: Luis. Both of them own a license, but Luis is the only one between the two who owns a vehicle. Shisuta much more prefers to walk, if possible, citing that it helps both your body and the environment.
Has good penmanship: Shisuta. Both have good penmanship, but Shisuta writes a lot more than Luis, utilizing her daily journal, where she keeps her thoughts.
More relationship experience: Shisuta, but between the two of them, neither are experts when it comes to relationships. Luis hasn't been with anyone since high school. And Shisuta's last serious relationship ended with a divorce.
Subtle to changes: Shisuta. She is quick to notice when there is something different about a person, being able to ascertain whether the person is okay or not. Luis, unless the person means a lot to him or its fairly obvious something is wrong, doesn't really pay much attention to other people.
The one who proposes: Luis. He may not be the best when it comes to vocalization, but when it comes to action, he is the best. And when it comes to proposals, he will literally go all out, utilizing his partner's personality, as well as his own touch on it.
The one who dies protecting the other: Both of them, but definitely Luis. He will literally go to hell and back to protect the person he cares for. If he has to give up his life to ensure his friend or partner is okay, he will do it in a heartbeat.
MirKai (Mireya Quinlan x Kai Quinlan)
First to confess: Kai. When he and Mireya first met, both were attracted to each other, but he was the first to confess his feelings to her; they were reciprocated, much to his happiness.
First to apologize: Kai. Though it's rare when the two of them argue, Kai is usually the first to apologize. Mainly because, unlike Mireya, who tends to hold grudges longer, Kai tends to get over things relatively fast. If he was wrong, he'll admit it. If he believes he wasn't wrong, he'll still apologize, but only to restore peace. His apologies are blunt and to the point but mean well.
Most popular/charismatic: Both of them are popular, both as a DJ and a dancer, but the most charismatic is Mireya. Despite being beautiful and enchanting, she has an aura about her that you just notice as soon as she walks into a room. People notice her instantly. Kai is noticeable when the spotlight is on him, but Mireya is the spotlight.
Best caregiver: Mireya. She is, not surprisingly, very tender when someone she cares for is ill. She takes great pride in caring for her friends and family. Zakari has lost count of times she's patched him up during his times when he's made a mistake at parkour.
Does the cooking: Mireya. Kai is not a bad cook, but he is usually so deep in his music that he forgets to eat. This forced Mireya to learn how to cook so that she could frequently remind her husband to eat on days when he traps himself in his studio.
Does the housework: Kai, surprisingly. Because he is in his house more than his wife or son, he generally keeps the place looking spic and span when he needs a break from his music.
Speaks the most: Kai. Generally, he is a quiet guy, but that's only when he isn't performing. As a radio DJ with his own show, his job requires him to speak. Plus, he also calls random listeners on his show to speak to about their interpretation of what 'music' is.
Designated driver: Mireya. Both she and Kai have licenses, but Kai rarely drives the family's car, not only because he rarely leaves his house, but when he does, everything in Roppongi is within walking distance. Mireya, on the other hand, likes to drive to and fro, not only from her dance studio, but to other places.
Has good penmanship: Mireya. She frequently teases Kai for having handwriting that looks like 'chicken scratch', though he's not bothered by it.
More relationship experience: Mireya. After she escaped her mother and settled in Las Vegas, she used her new-found freedom to do what she couldn't do before: go out on dates. While some of them were nice, none of them were anything to scream about until she met Kai.
Subtle to changes: Mireya. Contrary to popular belief, she is far more perceptive than people give her credit for. When something is bothering her family or friends, she automatically picks up on it, via their shifts in tone, posture, or just general silence. Kai, despite how aware he is, only notices things when it's obvious, far too invested in his music or work to pay attention to subtle changes.
The one who proposes: Kai. After rescuing her from the mob and the two dating for several months, he finally proposed to her in a restaurant, where she accepted.
The one who dies protecting the other: Kai. He would literally go to hell and back to see not only Mireya, but also his son safe, even if that means putting himself in harm's way. That became noticeable when he rescued Mireya from the mob, not at all concerned that they could have killed him. While Mireya is the protective one, Kai is the one jumping headfirst into danger. If something appears that could harm someone he cares about, he'd be moving before Mireya could even process the danger.
ZakTas (Zakari Hiroya x Tasuku Kawanoe)
First to confess: Tasuku. Unlike Zakari, the "One-Eyed Bastard of Fukuoka" doesn't sit on his feelings. He doesn't stew, doesn't overthink, and definitely doesn't worry about "what ifs." He is shameless, bold, and would admit his feelings openly.
First to apologize: Tasuku. As stated, Tasuku doesn't let things fester or rot. If he has hurt someone (Zakari, in particular), he'll immediately apologize because he hates lingering tension, and hates thinking that someone he loves doesn't think that he cares about them. He'd apologize fast, loud and without shame.
Most popular/charismatic: In popularity, Zakari is the winner, due in no small part to his reputation as a daredevil who does extreme stunts and his skill at parkour. In charisma, Tasuku is the winner, due to his gift for gab and his job as a casino dealer, where he manages to charm (and piss off) an entire table with no effort.
Best caregiver: Tasuku. You might find this surprising, but keep in mind, he was the oldest sibling in his house. He grew up taking care of Ming and his younger brother, Toin. Although he isn't good with cooking or housework, when someone he cares for isn't feeling well, he'd do everything he could to make them feel better, giving them medicine, making them soup (even if it isn't the best), and cooling them off if necessary.
Does the cooking: Neither. Tasuku, though he's good with knives, isn't allowed in the kitchen by his sister, Ming, due to his horrible cooking skills. And Zakari generally eats whatever someone else makes. Either that, or he'd order takeout or buy food from a vendor.
Does the housework: Surprisingly, Zakari. Despite his nature, Roppongi's Daredevil is surprisingly neat and clean, liking everything decent and in order. Tasuku, on the other hand, is frequently yelled at and chastised by Sanyu and Ming for leaving his dirty magazines and clothes all over their apartment.
Speaks the most: Tasuku. Unlike Zakari, who only speaks when it matters, Tasuku's mouth is open almost all the time. He is loud, shameless, charismatic, expressive and much more. He doesn't make apologies for this.
Designated driver: Tasuku, but neither he nor Zakari own a car or a license. And even if they did, they'd never drive. Tasuku prefers to walk everywhere, and Zakari refuses to go near a car, still suffering trauma from his father's tragic racecar accident.
Has good penmanship: Zakari. Aside from the fact that he's a part-time student and does a lot of writing, he often has people asking for his autograph because of his stunts.
More relationship experience: Tasuku. He's been in and out of relationships since leaving his parents' house, most of which were just flings or one-night stands. Zakari's only had one major relationship, but he broke it off because of time not spent.
Subtle to changes: Zakari. Between him and Tasuku, he notices things a lot sooner than Tasuku does because he's deeply observant. If something was bothering Tasuku, he'd ask 'what's wrong' before Tasuku even realizes he's upset.
The one who proposes: Tasuku. As you already know, he doesn't believe in fate or destiny. He believes in choice and taking action. So when he decides he wants Zakari forever, he wouldn't wait for a sign, moment or perfect setup. He'd just decide, saying 'I'm choosing you. For life.'
The one who dies protecting the other: Zakari. This guy has already lost one family member, and he believes heavily that it was his own fault. To prevent that from happening again, he'd throw himself into harm's way first, risking his life so that he couldn't see someone else lose theirs. He'd believe his luck would save him. Whether it would or not is unknown.
KikKur (Kikyo Yomogi x Kurai Amamiya)
First to confess: Kurai. Although when he and Kikyo first met one another, they didn't trust each other, they eventually began to look forward to their initial meetings. The Onmyōdō priest was the one to take the first step in their relationship asking for her hand in marriage.
First to apologize: Kurai. In case you forget, this is a man whose entire being revolves around the philosophy of 'balance.' He hates lingering conflict. He'll apologize first even when he's not in the wrong; not because he's weak, but because unresolved tension feels like imbalance, which he dislikes. Peace matters more to him than being right.
Most popular/charismatic: For popularity, the answer is Kurai since he is the most well-known one out of not only him and his wife, but out of his team. But for charisma, Kikyo is the choice. Charisma isn't about friendliness, it's about presence. And Kikyo has that in spades. Despite her demeanor and disposition, she has an aura or about her that people can't turn away from. She can make a room go quiet simply by stepping in it. That's her power.
Best caregiver: Kurai. He would be the first to notice if Kikyo or Rin aren't feeling well. He'd adjust blankets and pillows without asking, brew tea exactly how they'd like it, stay calm whilst they are in pain or scared, check in on them without hovering, and a lot more. He doesn't make a fuss when someone is sick; he just handles it.
Does the cooking: Kikyo. At first, Kikyo never really learned how to cook because she never saw need to learn. She rarely ever got hungry, and when she did, she simply ate the bare minimum. After getting a family, she made an effort to learn, and within a week's time, mastered how to prepare a basic meal. This is good since she, Kurai and Rin don't really eat much.
Does the housework: Kurai. As a man who loves balance, he is dedicated to making sure his house is the same one. If Kikyo is the one making sure the family is fed, he feels it only right to make sure the house is the same. Thankfully, despite their large home, he doesn't have to do much.
Speaks the most: Kurai. His job as an Onmyōji has him speaking to people every day as he conducts rituals and prescribes blessings to temples and priests. Outside of that though, much like his wife, he doesn't speak unless he has too, as he dislikes senseless noise or talking to fill silence.
Designated driver: Kurai, though the family doesn't own any sort of motorized vehicle. Kikyo doesn't see the need for a driver's license, perfectly fine with walking. And truthfully, Kurai is the same way, though he still possesses one.
Has good penmanship: Both have good handwriting, both Kurai's would have to the best. Besides the fact that he has written entire books on strategy, it's safe to say his penmanship is the better of the two.
More relationship experience: Kurai, though that's not saying much. Kikyo, who has shied away from public interaction until recently, has little to no experience with dating. In fact, Kurai is the first person she's been with for a long time. Likewise, Kurai has never really seen the need to get close to someone. Not unless he generally likes and cares for them.
Subtle to changes: Kurai. As a former assassin and now an Onmyōji, he has taught himself to notice when things don't seem right or different. He doesn't just see changes, he analyzes them. If something is wrong, he checks it immediately.
The one who proposes: Kurai. As in the confession question, Kurai is the one who not only confessed his feelings, but also proposed. Truthfully, he was shocked at himself for this, and even more so when Kikyo accepted.
The one who dies protecting the other: Kurai. Whilst both he and Kikyo would give up their lives for each other and their daughter, Kurai would be the one to act first as his entire life and trauma revolves around the fact that he lost his entire family in one night and refuses to let that happen again. If danger appears, he doesn't think or calculate, he acts. Immediately. He's already lived through the worst, and refuses to let his family go through that.
MingSan (Ming Kawanoe x Sanyu Inouye)
First to confess: Ming. She's the first to confess because honestly, she kinda has to because Sanyu won't be able to. For one thing, the MIHANASA leader has never been in a relationship before, and she's already upset at herself for forcing Ming to help calm her down when she has her... "urges." So Ming will be the one to confess her feelings first.
First to apologize: Ming. She will apologize, even if she isn't in the wrong. She does this because she understands she knows Sanyu acts out due to her past trauma. She will apologize first, opening up communication again, whilst Sanyu will apologize second, earnestly sorry for what she said and did.
Most popular/charismatic: For most popular, its Sanyu, due in no small part to her job as a circus entertainer, where she performs suicidal and death-defying stunts three-to-four times a week. For charisma, Ming is the winner due to her "mom energy", which naturally makes people feel at ease.
Best caregiver: Ming. As the "mom" of the team, she's had to take care of not only Sanyu and Tasuku multiple times when they were sick, but also the children under her care. She has a natural bedside manner, which makes people feel better instantly. Plus, her homemade soup also works wonders.
Does the cooking: Ming. She does all of the cooking for the team. Tasuku can't be trusted in the kitchen, and Sanyu's food doesn't taste the same.
Does the housework: Ming. Aside from cooking, she also handles the housework. How she manages to do it with one arm and both her feet is something she learned after hours of effort.
Speaks the most: Ming. Sanyu tries to avoid speaking if she doesn't have to, especially to people she doesn't know. Ming, on the other hand, has no problem speaking to others.
Designated driver: Neither. Neither Ming nor Sanyu own a car or a driver's license. Ming, only having one arm, would find it hard to use a motorized vehicle. And Sanyu doesn't think she'd be able to control her strength when driving. Plus, they prefer to walk anyway.
Has good penmanship: Ming. Being a school teacher, she naturally writes a lot more than Sanyu does, so her penmanship is far better. Plus, it was Ming, along with Tasuku, that helped Sanyu learn how to read and write.
More relationship experience: Ming, but not by much. She's only been in a few relationships back when she lived with her family. Sanyu, being a recluse and introvert, has never really been anyone, save Tasuku and Ming, who had to calm her down when her nymphomania acted up.
Subtle to changes: Both. Ming recognizes emotional changes. If Sanyu's quieter or more withdrawn, Ming recognizes the signs immediately and helps to calm Sanyu down when her trauma acts up. For behavioral and physical changes, Sanyu is the one. If Ming is favoring her remaining arm, if her breathing changes or she's more fatigued, Sanyu helps her to relax, taking over some of her duties.
The one who proposes: Ming. She understands her feelings a lot better than Sanyu understands hers. Truthfully, she felt something for Sanyu the first time she held her through her first nightmare. After that, it slowly started to change into love for her.
The one who dies protecting the other: Sanyu. Although Ming is the nurturer and the caretaker, Sanyu is the leader and cares for not only her, but all of her family and friends greatly. She feels her life is nothing compared to them, so if the situation called for one of them to give their life so that they other may live, Sanyu would do so in a heartbeat.
JunKen (Juna Takamine x Kenshiro Sugi)
First to confess: Juna. Kenshiro would never be the one to confess because: one, he is still grieving his deceased wife; losing her carved a wound in him that never fully closed. Plus, he doesn't believe he deserves love after causing his wife to be killed. Therefore, Juna would take the lead and proclaim her feelings to him directly, saying something like: 'Ken, I like you.'
First to apologize: Juna. She'd apologize, not because she is wrong, but because she hates unresolved tension and is far more emotionally mature than Kenshiro is. Kenshiro would apologize after, but his would mean more. It would take a lot for him to apologize, but when he says 'sorry' he means it.
Most popular/charismatic: Juna. Aside from being the leader and face of her team, she is also a famous rodeo star, known across all of Japan. She also has a charisma that fills a room with no effort. She can walk into a room and people will straighten up, not because she's scary, but because she radiates authority. Kenshiro, on the other hand, is known only as a butcher, and his aura is intimidating, making people avoid him.
Best caregiver: Both. Juna, despite having had both her parents with her, had to watch over both her younger sisters when her parents died. She's got a good beside manner, and notices symptoms early. Likewise, Kenshiro is used to taking care of his daughters, fulfilling a lot of maternal roles after his wife died. Despite his aura and rough upbringing, he becomes extremely gentle when someone he cares for is hurt or sick.
Does the cooking: Kenshiro. Aside from the fact that he's a butcher and cooks for a living, he also has a degree in the culinary arts. His daughter, Niko, handles the cooking at home, but when he's not busy with work, he often takes over. Juna is only good at cooking meat and/or poultry.
Does the housework: Both. Kenshiro often handles the dishes, heavy lifting, repairs, trash, and anything involving tools or strength. Juna handles sweeping, tidying, organizing, laundry, and anything that requires patience or attention to detail. This split isn't negotiated; rather, it just happens. They both fall into a rhythm without talking about it.
Speaks the most: Juna. She is a lot more extroverted than Kenshiro, who only talks with necessary, which is mainly on his job or at home with his kids. Juna is somewhat the same way, but she has to deal with people asking for autographs, dealing with business on her ranch, doing interviews, and other such things. She's not chatty, but she's comfortable speaking when needed.
Designated driver: Kenshiro. He's the only one of the two who not only owns a vehicle, but also a license. Juna prefers to ride a horse. Off of it, she is extremely discoordinated on the ground. She's more likely to trip over her own feet than operate a car smoothly. If she tried to drive, Kenshiro would be gripping the door handle with white knuckles.
Has good penmanship: Juna. Her handwriting is clean, steady and legible, practiced from years of signing autographs and handling paperwork on her ranch. While Kenshiro does the same for his business, his handwriting isn't all that good. He had to learn how to write properly while in university. And even then, it isn't all that good.
More relationship experience: Juna. After she departed her family's ranch, she became a wayward woman, having flings, one-night stands, casual partners, etc. Kenshiro is the first man she's met that she isn't interested in just physically, but also romantically. Kenshiro has over ever loved one woman: his wife. After she died, he shut that part of himself away. He's not dated, flirted, slept with anyone, or even considered romance.
Subtle to changes: Both. Juna notices emotional changes first, such as tone shifts, mood changes, discomfort, guilt, etc. This stems from learning to read her younger sisters' emotions like weather patterns. Likewise, Kenshiro notices behavioral changes, like stress in someone's posture, signs of illness, when someone's overworking themselves, or when someone is unsafe.
The one who proposes: Kenshiro, but it depends. He'd only propose if, one: he knew deep down that a relationship with Juna is what he truly wants. And two: if both of his daughters were okay with it. He'd have a serious talk with both of them, and if they were okay with it, then he'd ask for Juna's hand. And even then, it would be a quiet affair, nothing flashy.
The one who dies protecting the other: Kenshiro. He's already had to live with one person he cared for dying. He couldn't bare to let it happen again. He knows doing that would be leaving his daughters alone, and he hopes that someday they would forgive him. But if it means having to lose another person that he loves, he may as already be dead. It took a lot for him to bounce back after the loss of Nahoko. If he had to lose Juna, he'd probably never recover, because it would affirm his belief that he hasn't changed at all.
AiraMiso (Aira Towa x Misora Ayazono)
First to confess: Aira. It takes a lot for her to reveal her feelings to Misora, due to the fact that one, she is her boss, and she doesn't want to ruin what relationship they have, both professional and personal. And two, because she doesn't have as much experience in relationships as Misora does. Still, she does manage to find a time to open up about her feelings.
First to apologize: Aira. As her PA, Aira understands Misora a lot more than most people. She apologizes first, not because she's more emotional or weaker, but because she knows Misora shuts down when she's cornered and has a tendency to say things she doesn't mean. So Aira opens the door to forgiveness by apologizing with Misora following afterwards.
Most popular/charismatic: Both. Aira is the more publicly popular one, due to not only being the liaison between Misora and the public, but also because of her inventions, robots and tech stunts that make her a spectacle. She's basically the "face" of Imperial Velvet's innovation. Misora is the charismatic one. She has an aura that demands attention the moment she walks into a room. She is magnetic, refined, and intimidating, all in one. People don't approach her, they gravitate towards her.
Best caregiver: Aira. She is surprisingly attentive when someone she cares about is sick or hurt. She's practical, quick-thinking and emotionally present in a way Misora could only hope to be. If her boss was ill, she'd Google up symptoms, check her forehead every ten minutes and fuss without admitting she's being fussy.
Does the cooking: Aira. While she's no gourmet chef, Aira, being the experimental of the two, enjoys tinkering, adjusting flavors and trying out new recipes. She's very enthusiastic and surprisingly quite good at cooking; she enjoys feeding people she cares about.
Does the housework: Misora. Unlike Aira, Misora is extremely organized, almost to the point where one thinks she might have OCD. She naturally takes over when it involves cleaning, laundry, organizing closets, maintaining schedules, and keeping the home pristine. She finds comfort in order, and cleaning is her way of decompressing.
Speaks the most: Misora. She demands attention the moment she walks into a room, and has absolutely no issue with speaking into a crowd of people, making them hang on her every word. Aira's not a bad speaker, but she has a bad habit of veering off topic, forcing others to get her back on track.
Designated driver: Both, though Aira tends to drive more. Both own a vehicle and a license, but Aira is almost always in the driver's seat. She is almost always in a rush. She has a habit of getting herself and Misora to places a lot earlier than expected, whilst still managing not to get them into an accident or collision, which is a shock, in of itself.
Has good penmanship: Misora. A CEO who spends most time signing documents and writing her own speeches for conferences and such? It's natural that her handwriting is good. In fact, she had good penmanship even before she became the owner of her own company.
More relationship experience: Misora, though her relationship experience is shallow. She's been in relationships since high school. Her beauty, status and aura made her highly sought after, and while she's dated men and women, none of them lasted. Aira, being a lesbian, has had fewer relationships. Men hit on her constantly, but she always rejects them. Women rarely approach her because she's so hard to read.
Subtle to changes: Both. Aira is more sensitive to emotional changes. Misora holding back tears, when she is hurt, but hiding it, and when she's fine, but is secretly stressed, Aira notices all of that. She easily reads Misora's face as well as her heart. Likewise, Misora is more sensitive to behavioral changes. She notices when Aira's exhausted, when her hands are shaking, when she hides stress behind jokes, or when she's pushing herself too hard. She reads body language, and sees the cracks Aira hides from everyone else.
The one who proposes: Aira. Along with confessing her feelings, she'd also be the one to propose, though it would only be after a substantial amount of time she and Misora spent together. It would be something small since she knows Misora isn't big on non-verbal affections, but it would still be meaningful.
The one who dies protecting the other: Both. Misora has a deep-rooted fear of loss and her instinct to guard what she believes is hers or what she values. If danger came for Aira, Misora would step in front of it instantly. Likewise, Aira would absolutely risk her life for Misora, but she'd try to find a smarter solution first. If there was none, she'd create one.
RionTomi (Rion Kanzaki x Tomi Chōten)
First to confess: Tomi. After a lengthy time of the two of them being together (and deciding she's worth his time), he'd take the first step in making their relationship official. Whether Rion accepts or not remains to be seen...
First to apologize: Tomi, surprisingly. But it would take a long while for him to do so, especially if he doesn't think he was in the wrong. If he was, he'll try to hide it, but would gradually admit his mistake. His way of apologizing would, no doubt, involve a flurry of expensive, hard-to-obtain gifts.
Most popular/charismatic: Both. In terms of popularity, Tomi, despite his recent issues with the media and his reputation, still holds some sway over "mindless peasants" sweeping Japan. He doesn't know or really care if he is well-liked, so long as people are talking about him. In charisma, Rion is the better, since she only needs to walk into a room for people to either be drawn to her, or move away from her. She lets people know right off, 'Be cool with me, I'll be cool with you. Fuck with me, and I'll drop you.'
Best caregiver: Rion. She's had to learn how to care for herself since she moved out, which automatically meant getting herself better when she was ill. Her bedside manner may not be the best, but its infinite times more better than Tomi's, who would more than likely just give you medicine and call it a day.
Does the cooking: Rion. Tomi hasn't cooked anything since he was born. And why would he? He has servants for that. Rion, on the other hand, has had to learn how to cook. And while she may not be making any five-star meals, she can at least boil water and use the microwave. At best, she could cook a meal or order take-out. Or Tomi could just take them both to a nice restaurant...
Does the housework: Rion. Again, she's had to learn to take care of herself, and this includes doing housework. Tomi won't bother to help as that's peasants' work, and the job of his servants.
Speaks the most: Tomi. Rion isn't one for socialization. She despised small talk, even before her fall from grace. Tomi is used to talking, doing a lot of that at his many parties and soirees, though he doesn't particularly care about what others are talking about.
Designated driver: Rion. Tomi has a license, as well as a car, but he rarely uses either. Why should he when he has a chauffeur with a limousine to drive him around? Rion does most of the driving between the two of them.
Has good penmanship: Tomi. His parents spent hundreds of dollars on tutors teaching him to write elegantly and neatly. Rion's parents did the same, but she changed up her penmanship and now writes in a grody, streetwise style.
More relationship experience: Both. The two of them have had a number of relationships since they were young. Only a few were serious, but most were just casual and for fun. This is their first relationship in a while that they have bothered to put some effort into.
Subtle to changes: Rion. She's a lot more perceptive than Tomi, who only notices things when it's too late. She easily picks up when Tomi is bothered, stressed, or just doesn't want to be bothered. She usually just leaves him be, but on days when she's feeling nice, she'll do something to cheer him up.
The one who proposes: Tomi. Though he'd have fears after his last break-up, after spending time with her, he'd propose to Rion in his usual grandiose style.
The one who dies protecting the other: Both. As shocking as it'd be, the both of them would put their life to defend the other. Tomi, as arrogant and pretentious as he is, does value his friends and those close to him. In a life or death situation, his body would move before he could even stop or before he's comprehending what's happening. Rion would be the same, but she'd probably have a much higher chance of surviving due to her martial arts background. She's not used to protecting others, so she'd shock herself by doing this.
MearKara (Meari Miracle x Karada Kessaku)
First to confess: Neither. Meari doesn't confess because doesn't do confessions. She's not into commitment. Does she think Karada's hot? Hell yeah. And that's enough. Likewise, Karada won't confess cause he's not invested enough. He's into having fun, not anything serious. They're both casual daters, and they're both fine with that.
First to apologize: Karada. Every time. Though he's not the brightest bulb in the closet, even he's smart enough to know when someone is pissed at him. And he dislikes that feeling, especially if its someone he likes. He apologizes fast because he's used to being the one who "messes up." Meari rarely apologizes. She only does when she's crossed a line. And even then, they're not really all the sincere.
Most popular/charismatic: In terms of popularity, Meari is the overall winner. A heavy metal vocalist versus a bodybuilder? There's no contest. Now, in terms of charisma, the both of them are tied. Meari has a dark and magnetic aura that people admire from afar. Karada has a loud, bright and physical aura that draws people in. They both attract attention for completely different reasons, which is why they both stand out as a pair.
Best caregiver: Neither. Karada doesn't know the first thing about taking care of someone. He tries... and that's the problem. Although his heart is in the right place, his skillset is terrible. He panics, brings random medications, hovers over them too much, and cooks food that looks like a biohazard. And Meari, she could take of someone, but she won't. Why? Because that goes against her philosophy of self-reliance. Relying on someone else to help you feel better? No, that's not her thing. The most she'll do is check up on you. Anything else, you're on your own.
Does the cooking: Neither. Karada doesn't know anything about cooking, nor does he have the patience for it. Most of the time, he either orders food from Luis's or just orders take-out. And Meari, she either eats out, orders in, or has meals prepared for her during tours. If they lived together, their fridge would undoubtedly contain: energy drinks, leftover takeout, protein shakes, and maybe a single apple.
Does the housework: Surprisingly, Karada. Despite how he seems, he is actually pretty orderly and likes to make sure things are spic and span. This was probably the only good quality he adopted from his grandfather.
Speaks the most: Meari. Being the frontwoman of her band, she typically handles the interviews and speaks for her band. She literally commands rooms with her loud, Banshee-like voice. And that doesn't change even if she's in a relationship.
Designated driver: Meari. Whilst both she and Karada have a license, she's the only one of the two owns a car. Karada, while he could easily purchase one, doesn't see the point in driving when you could just walk, jog or run to get to where you need to go.
Has good penmanship: Meari. While she and Karada may give autographs, she gives out a lot more. Plus, she writes far more than him since she is in a band and writes lyrics with her bandmates. Her handwriting, surprisingly, is clean, sharp and artistic. Karada's looks like it's trying to bench press the paper. He can sign his name, but that's about it.
More relationship experience: Both, but at the same time, neither. The last serious relationship the two of them had ended. Badly for one, and abruptly for the other. In Meari's case, her ex cheated on her, which broke her sense of trust. And Karada, his last girlfriend thought the two of them should just be 'friends with benefits.' The two of them have had nothing but casual flings and one-night stands since, so both of them have some experience, but none that is concrete.
Subtle to changes: Karada. While he may not be emotionally intelligent, he's observant in a physical way. He doesn't understand why something feels off, but when it is, he feels it immediately. Meari doesn't notice such changes because she doesn't monitor people, assuming they can handle their own problems and doesn't like to pry.
The one who proposes: Neither. As stated in the confession question, these two aren't looking for anything serious. Just some casual dating, a little flirting here and there, as well as some good old-fashioned sex in the bed. Anything after that, they aren't interested in.
The one who dies protecting the other: Karada. As dimwitted as he is, he is loyal to a fault, and would undoubtedly put his life on the line for his friends. He believes a man's worth is proven through action, not words, so dying to protect someone he cares about is, to him, the ultimate fulfillment of manhood. Meari, while she wouldn't die for him, would, after a while, break over losing him, though she'd hide it.
AranIchi (Aranai Norikoru x Ichiro Yamada)
First to confess: Ichiro. As the role model to his younger brothers, he's never been one to shy away from his feelings, so after many dates and a long time of being friends/acquaintances, he's ready for him and Aranai to take the next step.
First to apologize: Ichiro. As stubborn as he is, he's not afraid to admit when he's messed up, or wants their to be peace again. If he and Aranai had an argument, it'd probably be over something dumb. About 20-30 minutes later, he'd apologize, with Aranai reciprocating, afterwards. If she messed up, it'd take a lot for her to swallow her pride, but eventually she'll apologize too.
Most popular/charismatic: Ichiro. Compared to Aranai, who is only known as being a deviant who, up until several years ago, caused chaos everywhere she went as a Bōsōzoku, Ichiro's reputation is a lot more wholesome. Despite the fact he was once a delinquent, himself, he was also once part of the greatest rap group in Japan, TDD. Plus, compared to Aranai, people naturally gravitate towards him, whereas they shy away from Aranai.
Best caregiver: Ichiro. He's no doubt had to care for both his younger brothers when they were sick, so he's got experience caring for others. Plus, his bedside manner would be a lot better than Aranai's, who would, more than likely, just hand you some medicine and some lukewarm soup and call it a day.
Does the cooking: Ichiro. He has much more experience cooking, as he's had to do that for both his younger brothers. Aranai, if she isn't in the mood for takeout or something, usually relies on her mom, Shisuta, to cook, or just warms up something microwaveable.
Does the housework: Both. Surprisingly, Aranai is pretty good when it comes to tidying up, due to Shisuta making her help around the house on weekends. She'd handle sweeping and doing laundry, while Ichiro would handle heavy labor like taking out trash or dishes.
Speaks the most: Both. Both of these are leaders of their divisions, and have no qualms about saying what they want, or what needs to be said. While Ichiro is a lot more tactful, Aranai picks up by reinforcing his words. The two of them make a good duo when it comes to getting their point across.
Designated driver: Aranai. It's unknown if Ichiro has a license or not, but even if he does, he usually relies on Aranai, whose had years behind a motorbike or any other two-wheeled vehicle, to handle the driving.
Has good penmanship: Ichiro. Although Aranai recently graduated, that doesn't mean her penmanship has improved. Years of doodling on street walls and alleyways has given her a streetwise, edgy sort of handwriting. In comparison, Ichiro's is far neater.
More relationship experience: Aranai. Though most of her relationships were short-term and were usually just one-night stands, Aranai has far more experience when it comes to dating than Ichiro, who is usually too busy with work and watching after his brothers to think about relationships.
Subtle to changes: Both. Growing up in a broken home, Aranai has learned to read between the lines and know when something about a person is up. She is far more perceptive than she appears, and notices small things about a person. Likewise, Ichiro has experience in seeing when someone is hiding something, as he's seen a lot of that from his younger brothers and others during his 19-year-old life.
The one who proposes: Ichiro. It would take some prodding from his younger brothers to get their older brother to make the final push to finally proposing to Aranai after they've spent a long time of being partners (We think Jiro and Saburo would actually be glad to have a sister).
The one who dies protecting the other: Both. Aranai's not going to let anyone get hurt in her place if she can avoid it. If it meant putting her life on the line, she'd do it in a heartbeat (Never let it be said she's not loyal to her friends or family). Likewise, Ichiro couldn't bear to see the woman he cares for getting hurt because of him. He knows that his younger brothers may be said, but he hopes that they'll understand and forgive him.
One more run, throttle twist, I'm fuckin' lawless!
Honest, you hate me simply cause I don't beg for solace
You ain't felt loss til your home turns toxic!
I'm the ghost of a family that never got honest
Fuck with me or my city? (Ha!) Bitch, you musta lost it!
Oh, I'm the start of a revolution!
No peace without scars, I know!
You could ride with the solution
We light this engine up and let it go!
Oh, I got fire in my soul!
Yozakura, yeah we can make it our own
Startin on low? No, I don't believe in 'go slow'
I'm holding up the weight of a world I never chose, ho!
[Keiko (Caitlyn):]
Sketching through the streets, I'm on my own path
No bloodbath, just wisdom in the aftermath
Make them learn, page by page
I'll flip the script, rewrite the stage
Let you twist the truth with your shame?
No, I'll ink the blame
Study team, traded for armies
But you're the one who scarred me
Fake love, it can't be forgiven!
One solution, I don't care what you think
Only one goal in mind: erase your future in a blink!
No rewinds now, no mercy; it won't be allowed!
Your past is inked in scars, and I'll read it for the entire world aloud!
I’ll school your shame, expose it out loud
Every chapter of deceit gets torn from the crowd!
I will get my justice, I'll tear you apart
Pry the rot from your soul, line by line, chart by chart
No regret, no doubt, it's all making sense
When I'm done, you'll exist only as past tense!
[Mireya (Mel):]
Don't need your gossip or game
Try to silence Gypsy, but you'll remember the name
You thought you held the pen, tried to lock up my fate
I snatched the book back, now I'm the one who dictates!
They told me to hide the scars, bury my shame deep inside
But I lit them like torches, now they glow with my pride
Mama tried to script me, chains tight on the cage
I ripped the paper wide open, now I dance on the stage (Ugh!)
Gypsy Queen, this is mujer magic
Vibrational high, my rhythm's cinematic
I'll hear you out, but don't dare to mistake my stance
I built this empire with the love of family and friends!
Breaking generational curses, I shattered the mold
I owe it to my kin, to the young and the bold!
Exiled from the start, but I pulled the strings tight
Now I puppeteer the system, make it bend to my light
[Takumi (Heimerdinger):]
Well now, this is quite the conundrum I'm involved in
But don't you worry; this red-spirited coach will solve it!
Coach Wakumi's my name!
The teacher from hell who drills until you're cut
Now my precious students, get up and show your stuff!
Grit and pressure, they beat talent
You tryin' to vacate my class? Now, that's an infraction!
Yeah, my methods are dangerous, but it's better than inaction
The future's in your hands, my youth. Just get up and grab it!
I built this body!
Memories and past, no they are not pretty
They tried to exile me, but I'm still in the fight
And if they dare to bring me down
I'll break down the gates with my burning might!
I was nobility! Wasn't all that fun, you see
Now my speeches come to life; it's like a prophecy!
I admire all who tried to rap up on this jolly good beat
But just because you can quit, doesn’t mean you should retreat!
[Tasuku (Ekko):]
Three cards, six chances, it's like we Mafia
I stay dealin'
Sliding with a glare, my opp's a joker bluff
Fukuoka bred, family cast me off
Dealt a bad hand, but no, that's not stoppin' us
This city will chew you up alive, and it won't spit you back
Downtrodden, but we don't quit, and that's a fact!
No lie, I've been fired just for showing up
Pain in my eye, like I drank poison from a coffee cup
MIHANASA 4L!
Try to take us? You'll fail!
The prize we seeking is choice, not some dumb fairy tale!
I know gamblers and cheaters, but I am not gon' tell
If you ain't come from this city, then you do not know Hell!
We been hidden in the alleys like shadows and them
Even if I lose, I'll just get up and try again
Katame's glare reminds you, your fate was never drawn
Word up, Icarus; I love you, even if you are gone
[Eiji (Jayce):]
Storming through the markets with a passion in the algorithm
Who can harness data into power but a mogul risen?
Holding up the code, I'll be locking down the net
Until I'm channeling a multitude of futures with my intellect!
You best bet I don't need to be regal
I'm giving PROFILE to the streets of my people
Cause I imagined a city no pain or poverty plagues
I'm on the brink of a breakthrough, so time to open the gates!
The network is infinite in reach and memory!
Fortunes in discovery, rewriting our entire legacy
Yeah, I saw the future, but I never knew how'd much it cost
Look at what life's done to you, look at how much I've lost!
The empire that I built was a promise to prove
That progress without compassion is something to lose!
A cure for my daughter, it wasn't part of the plan
But I'll keep pushing forward until you're holding my hand!
[Masa (Viktor):]
A lifespan is more than numbers on a page
When the Father turns the wheel, the flock obeys
I tore down the sinner's fragile guidelines
My people, you have a choice: repent or be consigned
I'll leave my mark upon this earth until they break my hand
You see confession day as a reason to celebrate
Until that mercy is set aflame
So I will not wait for permission to build a world without shame!
False prophets can get in line!
I'm the Father of your sacrifice
Your shepherd guide
Turn your bleeding into bread and wine
So kneel tonight with the faithful in my paradise, with better lives!
Put scripture heavy in your lap, afraid I'll turn it into profit?
With access to the pulpit, I will rise as your prophet
Bring the apple to its branch when the core's already rotten
You must repent your past for a future without a coffin!
[Nadya (Viktor):]
I walk the line where the shadows hide
No pity for the blind who refuse to open their eyes
Cautionary tales? I rewrite them entirely out of spite!
Loneliness is the venom of a gifted mind at night
Infinite knowledge, yes, I stand on science
Went through hell and haven't made it back, but I'm no victim!
The thesis is: never show weakness, strike with bliss
You're already too late by the time you hear the serpent's hiss
I’ve got my own ideals!
You fools will never understand a fraction of what I unveil
But I put it into practice, my revenge is real
Not much left they can steal
The serpent has already healed!
I've done the most, but I'm not entirely sure of it
Injected pain in my veins, and endured every bit!
Always making progress, my venom reassuring
Best believe in the end, I will be the one to cause your death!
[Tomi (Silco):]
Power, real power…
Only comes to those born rich enough to devour!
I was cast into the spotlight, but never defeated
Bathed in gold, reborn, and I shed my weakness
Let me tell you little peons a secret:
Respect is bought, and envy's the price to keep it
Defend your throne with the jewels that seized it
Change is demanded, lest history be repeated!
They humiliate my name when I'm not even there
Despise me in public, but I'm always in their prayers
Every day, you all ponder, 'How can we get his attention?'
But I pay no heed to any of you, cause you're not worthy of mention!
Aoyama's a sea, and I stack fortunes for buoyancy
You fools actually think you can try to foil me?
The only thing you show is your own disloyalty
But I'm not bothered. (Why?) Cause I'm royalty!
[Kenshiro (Vander):]
First, let me say, you're the greatest things I've ever conceived
You've made me happier than I thought I ever could be!
They tried to bury us deep, but I carved through the stone
Now our roots break the surface, this hearth is our home
I'll guard you through storms, through the silence and snow
These hands will always catch you steady, I won't ever let go
Both your talent and smiles are reminiscent of your mother
The greatest gift I'll ever guard is you two, together!
Now, both my girls have got to pay pain's fee!
I really tried to change, the world wouldn't let me!
I swore I'd never again go astray
But the beast inside me has awoken, and it won't go away!
Stuck between the love of my daughters! (Dad?)
And the Dragon's bloodlust that wants to slaughter! (Dad!)
Please, just forget about me!
I'm sorry, but people can't change!!
[Taria (Jinx):]
What's another lock picked?
What's the risk when freedom's clenched in my fist?
Hell yeah, I'll resist!
I'm tearing through chains with a smirk on my face and a twist!
Let the sirens wail on down!
Watch a jester flip your sacred crown, I'll take it now
You made your vow, I'll make you bow
And laugh while the whole damn world breaks down!
Light the flare and watch me climb the sky
I signed the night with sparks flying high.
You try and strike, but don't you get close,
Take me on and you'll join the forgotten ghosts!
Troublemaker that always will come back!
I'm too sharp to unpack!
I been there and done that!
Some call me "Misfit," some call me "The Solution,"
Don't get in my way, 'less you want retribution!

Kenshiro handpicks each piece of meat, handling it with great respect, as if he's paying tribute to the lives he has previously ended. Residents claim that his knife skills are so delicate that it seems he's softly uttering regrets with each cut.
Most of his regulars include ex-gangsters, single mothers, and curious teens. They come for the meals, but stay for the subtle insights he shares amidst the hustle of serving. He doesn't preach; rather, he provides service, pays attention, and from time to time, shares a saying that resonates more deeply than a physical blow.
He keeps a small shrine behind the counter. This isn't merely for display; it serves as a tribute to those he was unable to rescue, and the daughters he's determined to protect. Every morning starts with incense and a silent vow: "No more blood. Only nourishment."

Niko greets every customer with grace, but her eyes never stop scanning. She picks up on worn edges, clashing styles, and stances that don't quite fit the clothing. Her critiques stay silent... unless asked. And when they are, they're devastatingly honest.
Her aunt thinks she's just shy. But Niko's silence is strategic. She is meticulously cataloging a collection of fashion blunders and victories in her mind, getting ready for the moment when she will release her work under a false name and revolutionize the industry.
She keeps a hidden sketchbook tucked beneath the register. It's filled with outfit redesigns, coded critiques, and runway concepts. Some pages are marked with initials, customers who left an impression, good or bad. She never forgets a silhouette.

Saeko's stage persona is radiant, but her studio hours are relentless. Though she's not always the first to arrive, she is almost always the last to leave; tweaking lyrics, refining choreography, and encouraging her groupmates with infectious optimism, even when she's exhausted.
On her desk, there’s a container filled with letters from fans. When she finds herself questioning her abilities, she takes one out and reads it out loud. This has become her special routine, serving as a reminder that her words resonate with emotions, touching hearts beyond mere auditory reception.
Her dressing room has a photo of her family taped to the mirror. It's not just sentimental, it's grounding. She often remarks that the attention she receives is temporary, but the Sugi surname? That's forever. And each time she steps on stage, it serves as a homage to that legacy.
