McCree is actually not an American citizen, but rather a Mexican-Canadian dual citizen, with both sides of his family being Native American (I know a little bit about eastern Canadian native cultures and I think the Canadian side of his family would be mainly ojibwe, and live in the very northern parts of Ontario, or just across the border in Manitoba. I welcome any and all comments/questions/concerns from First Nations people)
