The Best Supplication You Can Make

Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said: There is no supplication that a person can make better than: “Allāhumma innī asʿaluk al-muʿāfāta fid-dunyā wal-ʿākhirah (O Allāh, I ask You for well-being in this life and the Hereafter).” وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسولُ الله - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -: "ما مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ يدعو بها العبدُ أفْضَلُ مِنْ (اللهُمَّ إنِّي أسْأَلُكَ المُعافاةَ في الدُّنْيا والآخرَةِ) ". Ṣaḥīḥ; Reported by Ibn Mājah and the chain is Jayyid. صحيح؛ رواه ابن ماجه بإسناد جيد. Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported in a marfū' narration that the Prophet ﷺ said: “If you were to commit sins so much that your sins reached the sky but then you repented, He (Allāh) would accept your repentance.”
