Coby:
Since he was a lot busier than before, just having the comfort of his partner being in his office made him happy
He was a whole lot confident with starting any affection with his partner
He liked when his partner gave him kisses but he absolutely loved their hugs. The hugs that were tight and he could literally feel the warmth emitting from them
When he had to stay late nights at work, his partner would sit on his lap and fall asleep. He’d make sure they didn’t fall and sneak in a kiss whenever he could
He loves giving forehead kisses and loves receiving cheek kisses
Brook, Coby, Shanks, and Mihawk(sp?) reaction to their s/o taking a fatal blow for them? And dying in their arms? Im sorry its a sad one!

Brook: He slid his sword into his sheathe, turning it back into a cane, as he finished off his opponent. He let out his usual laugh as he leaned on his cane. Not sensing the man running at him, his partner saw it however. They hadn’t thought, they just acted. Sprinting, they got in front of him and took the blow. Brook looked at his partner as blood splattered against his face. When the man withdrew their blade, Brook held out his shaking arms as his partner fell back into him. His words died out on his tongue as he felt the tears stream down his face. He couldn’t look away from the wound that was on his partner’s abdomen. His shaky, bony fingers pressed against the wound, making his partner hiss. They could feel his fingers shaking and they slowly lifted their hand on top of his. Feeling the fading warmth of their skin against his bones, made the tears flow faster.
“(Y/N)-san.. Please... Please hang in there... Don’t leave me... I can’t lose you...” He sobbed out. His partner smiled, even though it took a lot of their energy, they reached up with their other hand and placed a hand against his cheekbone.
“Sorry, Brook... Seems like I won’t be able to meet Laboon...” He let out a sob and gripped their hand tighter.
“No.. No! No! You will meet him! Please, (Y/N)-san! Please! Please!” He watched in distress as the light in their eyes slowly died down and how their eyelids heavily closed. He clutched them to him, his body shaking with sobs. It was like losing his crew all over again.
Coby: He stood in the middle of the battle field, staring up at the dark grey sky as rain droplets fell onto the bloody war zone. How appropriate, he thought to himself as the rain drops hit his face and slid down his skin. The bodies of other marines were already cleared out, including his beloved. The tears stung his eyes as he could still feel his partner’s warmth against his arms and the realization that he’d never be able to feel them against him again. He fell to his knees, his legs unable to support his weight any longer. He curled up with his forehead touching the ground close to his knees and his arms wrapped around his head, letting out sobs. He heard the sounds of footsteps through the mud head towards him but he didn’t care. He felt someone kneel next to him and a hand on his back.
“Coby... You gotta get up...” He heard his friend mumble. Helmeppo sighed and grabbed his arm, getting up and trying to pull him up as well. “You’re gonna get sick out here...” After not budging, Helmeppo pulled Coby up forcefully and crushed him into a hug. He could feel how bad the pink haired boy was trembling and all he could do was pat his friend’s back. “We’re gonna miss them too...” He murmured, after all Coby’s partner was a treasured member of the Navy that they all respected. Coby went limp in his friend’s arms as the heartbreaking sobs could be heard over the rain. The marines around took their hats off and placed it over their hearts, paying their respects for their Captain’s fallen love.

Dracule Mihawk: Perona peaked into Mihawk’s study, worried for him. One leg was folded over the other as he stared out the window. He had the stoic expression on his face but Perona knew better. He hadn’t left his study, he only ate bits and pieces of his food, he stared out the window instead of reading, and the only thing he actually did read was the newspaper of that terrible day.
“Hey, Mihawk? How about some tea? I can go make it if you want.” She was answered with silence. She stepped in and stood by the door, shuffling her feet. “Uh, Mihawk, You know... They wouldn’t have wanted you cooped up like a bird...” She murmured and she saw him stiffen. She took a step back, worried that she said the wrong thing. After a tense silence, he finally stood up and picked up the newspaper. Staring at the front picture, he slowly rolled the paper up and walked over to the door, Perona moving to the side.
“Tea sounds great. Make their favorite.” She smiled and nodded.
“Sure! I’ll get right on that!” She ran down the hall to the kitchen. It will take time for his heart to heal but he had to heal. He glanced down at the picture on the newspaper, it was of him looking down at his partner who was hugging his arm and smiling up at him. He should remember that smile instead of their fading heart beat against his chest.

Buggy the Clown: It was during one of the many parties after a very successful raid. He had his arm wrapped around his partner’s shoulders while laughing loudly, the alcohol giving him a buzz but not entirely drunk. His partner reached their hand up and intertwine their fingers with his hand that was around their shoulders. When the crew looked away from the couple, his partner gently kissed his cheek and went to his ear.
“Hey, Buggy? Will you marry me?” His eyes widened and a blush filled his face. At first, he thought it was only the alcohol fuddling up his hearing. He looked down at his partner, confusion written on his face.
“What’d you say?” He looked at his hand that was around his partner’s shoulders to see that they had slid a ring onto his finger.
“Marry me, Buggy?” He turned completely red, from embarrassment or the alcohol he didn’t know. A closer look at his partner’s face, he could see the nervous look on their face. He looked away and drank another mug of sake.
“Yeah... I’ll marry ya.” His partner grinned and held onto him tightly, overwhelmed with happiness. Buggy snorted at their behavior but he couldn’t help but smile at how happy they were. He continued to drink, holding his partner close to his side and glancing at the ring on his finger once in a while.
Portgas D. Ace: His eyes were wide as his partner got down on their knee shakily, their hand tight in a fist. He blushed as he could feel the whole crew staring at the two of them.
“(Y-Y/N), w-what are you-”
“M-Marry me, Ace!” He turned a darker shade of red as he could hear the crew wolf whistling and yelling out cheerfully. His heart raced in his chest and a small flame made a home on top of his head. He knew that his partner loved him a whole lot but there was the insecurity of them actually wanting to be with him for the rest of their life. The longer he took to answer, the more nervous and saddened his partner became. As they were about to stand up and rush out a bunch of apologies, Ace fell to his knees and embraced his partner tightly.
“I’ll marry you.” He muttered as the blush consumed his face as the words that left his lips made him embarrassed yet made his heart race faster than ever. He could feel his partner’s body relax against his chest and he could feel their tears of relief hit his shoulder.
“Making me worry like that...” He chuckled breathlessly before holding them tighter against his chest.
“Sorry about that...” He kissed their forehead and smiled at them, blushing more at hearing the crews loud cries of happiness.
Coby: He listened to his partner talk as he scribbled on paperwork. He felt bad that now that he was promoted to Captain, he barely spent time with them. He felt happy with them just being in the same room as him. He listened as their words slowly turned to a mutter. He blinked and looked up. He immediately got concerned as they were facing down and playing with their hands. He got up and went around his desk to comfort them. He blinked again when they suddenly stood up with a determined look on their face.
“Coby! I need to ask you something really important!” He blinked and nodded.
“W-What is it, (Y/N)-san?” His partner slowly went down on their knee. A blush consumed both their faces as his partner began rambling. He could only watch in shock and embarrassment but also happiness. His partner cut themselves off by clearing their throat and taking a deep breath.
“W-What I’m trying to say is that... Will you marry me, Coby?” Coby swallowed hard before looking away and covering his face with one hand.
“I-I w-will, (Y/N)-san.” He mumbled, hiding the tears that pricked his eyes. His partner could only grin and hug him suddenly that he fell back to the ground.
After time skip Coby gets a kiss from his S/o who is a pirate captain? So Scadelous~ lol

Coby was able to chase the pirate captain the whole time that they were running. His subordinates had gotten lost but he was able to corner them. They were both panting as he put his hands up in a fighting position as the captain smirk.
“Give up.” He watched as they took a couple steps closer with the same smirk against their lips. He felt a bit shaken up. He had been chasing the pirate for over two years now but he couldn’t deny that they were attractive. With every step they took, he took a step back. His back hit the wall and the pirate poked his chest.
“Or you’ll do what, Captain~?” They whispered and for some reason, Coby’s cheeks flamed up. He didn’t know what was wrong with him but he couldn’t push them away. He stared at anywhere but at them, trying to get his hands to work but they didn’t. He heart the pirate chuckle and he felt a grip on his scarf and his eyes quickly darted to them. “What a cute marine captain you are~” Before he could even respond, he was pulled down by his scarf and lips met his in a, surprisingly, heated kiss. They pulled away and smirk. “See you later. I know I will.” They winked and walked out of the alley.
Meanwhile, the captain slid down the wall, covering his mouth and face bright red. His fingers touched his lips and his mind and heart was racing. He secretly wished he could meet the pirate captain again.

Brook: The Sunny’s deck. He would have played on his violin while his partner listened. He couldn’t help but look at them in awe as the moonlight shined on them. He was snapped out of it when his partner pulled him down and pecked his mouth.
Portgas D. Ace: His room. They were just laying on his bed and looking at the ceiling as they both talked. He watched as they used their hands to emphasize the story and he couldn’t help but smile. He observed them for a while before getting up on his elbows and leaning over, pressing a small kiss to their lips.
Coby: His office. He was a nervous wreck in the relationship. His partner wanted to let him know that he could be himself around them. As he was stuttering his response, they gently kissed his cheek. He turned dark red but gently laid his hands on their shoulders and kissed them, his face a dark red.
Buggy the Clown: Outside a bar. He had gotten jealous that someone had his partner’s attention and was about to start a fight until his partner dragged him out. Before his partner realized, he turned around and kissed them. When he pulled away, he told them that they were his and only his, hiding his blush.
