I volunteered with some other art students to help with my school's open night and they kinda just made us draw for people to watch for a few hours as a demonstration??? So I drew brook. (Only one person recognised him 💔)

As you can probably see I didn't finish. I couldn't use my laptop to pull up a reference so I just tried to draw one of my favourite outfits he wears in the movies from memory, I've also NEVER drawn in an artstyle like this (besides the line art) so even though I feel kinda weird about the result at least I had a lot of fun with it!!

Going Merry Holidays 2024 (day 21): Burning - Sanji

This is the most recent amv and (again) so there is not much to add when it comes down to the original post. Anyway, the whole video was greatly inspired by the Luffy vs Sanji fight but also the Whole cake island it's viewed from Sanji's perspective and the main focus is on chapters 844 and 851 because they are the most crucial ones when it comes down to Sanji.

Like written before, I really like both Zou and Whole Cake Island, one reason is that because it focused on my 3 favorite Straw Hats: Luffy, Sanji and Nami and them all showing development compared to earlier stories and especially Sanji's character got more depth when we learn necessary stuff about his history.

One reason I also like these 2 arc is because they have lots of parallels to Water 7 and especially Enies Lobby arcs which are my favorites before Time skips. Maybe the biggest example is that Luffy as a captain demanding both Sanji and Nico Robin in their arcs to tell what they really want to hear because neither of them really wanted to throw their freedom and (pirate) life away but they thought it was the only way to save the rest of the crew.

All I can say is amazing storytelling Oda-sensei!
