Chateau Meyney

Chateau Meyney là nhà vườn được xây dựng lâu đời nhất của Saint Estephe và vẫn luôn giữ vị thế hàng đầu trong sản xuất rượu vang nơi đây. Hoạt động ủ rượu tại đây đã xuất hiện từ thế kỉ 17, nhờ công lao của tu sĩ sinh sống trong Couvent des Feuillants. Meyney được ra đời từ đó. Ngay sau khi Cách mạng Pháp chấm dứt, nhà vườn Meyney mới trở thành nhà sản xuất tư nhân. Mặc dù cũng nằm trong diện quy hoạch của Bordeaux, vườn nho này vẫn không được phân hạng Bordeaux. Chỉ với diện tích 51 héc-ta đất vườn trải dọc sườn đồi, Meyney nằm sát Chateau Montrose và hướng mặt ra cửa sông Gironde. Chateau Meyney được thiên nhiên ưu ái với đa dạng loại thổ nhưỡng. Sự kết hợp giữa đất đai và vi khí hậu của vùng đã tạo điều kiện thuận lợi để phát triển nhiều dòng nho như Cabernet Sauvignon (55%) - Merlot (30%) - Petit Verdot (15%).
