Intending to clean this up (perhaps redraw it entirely) and colour it better later, in the meantime it will be this.
#saltposting#saltdrawing#Not even remotely the June drawing challenge (which we are getting behind on) but I've been plagued by visions recently.#There is *another* non-challenge Mello piece in the works I paused in the middle of doing clean lineart on to draw this instead.#death note#mellonear#meronia#Anyway. Hands are my favourite thing to draw but facial expressions and especially mouths are the *worst*.#(I managed decently well but at what cost. Finding a decent profile reference for Near in the manga was easy#but there is not a SINGLE panel of Mello seen in profile that I actually like well enough to reference.#Plenty of strange and unusual angles which I did save for later but no profiles.#Partners had to find us a reference image from the anime.
