"In one study of patients with insulin resistance, researchers found that giving around 6,000 milligrams of sodium per day as compared to 3,000 milligrams of sodium per day ameliorated their insulin resistance." ~James Dinicolantonio, The Salt Fix: Why the Experts Got It All Wrong-- and How Eating More Might Save Your Life #insulinresistancediet @drjamesdinic #saltfix #eatmoresalt #liesmydoctortoldme #sodiumintake #salttotaste #sciencebasednutrition #himalayanpinksalt #saltyourfood @deptvetaffairs @ilealexander Thank You to @kendberry.md for Blessing us with this lifesaving knowledge! THANK YOU to @allthehealthy for this great post! "I strongly encourage everyone to check out this well-researched book by @drjamesdinic. What you think you know about salt is wrong. Salt does not cause high blood pressure. In more than half of people who already have hypertension, decreasing salt intake is ineffective and potentially harmful. The initial studies that created the salt-blood pressure hypothesis were performed on rats modified to be salt-sensitive and shouldn’t have been applied to the general population. Salt is a nutrient, not an additive like sugar. We evolved in saltwater. The dietary guidelines for sodium are based on the minimum amount needed to survive, not what is needed to thrive. Perversely, decreasing salt intake in the healthy adult population has led to *increased obesity and cardiac disease,* as salt has been replaced with sugar as a preservative and flavoring agent. Much of the research that supports this widely held misconception was funded by the sugar industry. Behold the power of capitalism." #unapologeticsaltbae #saltfix #saltisanutrient #saltislife #healthyeating
Getting knee deep into this book. Fascinating how the dietary recommendations of countries can be influenced by bad science and dogmatic individuals.... . #saltfix #sodium #greatbook #health #takearead #healthy #diet #nutrition
19 hours into a fast(8 of those hours on my feet in the salon) , and you know dinner is in an hour... you break your fast with? Today? It’s pork rinds and peanut butter!! #sonotvegan #saltfix #lowcarb #unmedicateddiabetic #keto #intermittentfasting #hungry #hairdresserlife #ketodiabetic
my boyfriend (capricorn) broke up with me (taurus). what is he honestly thinking about it and what should i do? should i chase him and tell him how i feel? or should i back off in hopes that he'll miss me? what's the best way to approach a capricorn after a break up?
I’m sorry sweetie, but try as I might, I’m not a mind reader. I can’t tell you what he’s “honestly" thinking. :(
That being said - I can’t really answer the rest of your questions, with this little information. It’s highly circumstantial, and depends on many variables surrounding the break up and relationship as a whole, how he feels, as well as how you feel.
