Favor for a Favor|| Jo and Open
Sam breathed a little easier when he saw that Jo put the silver on her arm without any incident. He let his hand fall away from the gun that was stuck in the waistband on his pants and rest at his side. He watched her walk around the car and frowned a little. “How are you here? Dean and I…we watched you…Jo who brought you back?” He asked quietly.
He ran his fingers through his hair and let his mind wander. He knew he wasn’t Jo’s favorite person, especially after the whole Meg incident. He was surprised that she was happy to see him at all. He said some horrible things. He knew it was Meg that did it, but it was with his body, he had seen and felt everything that happened, and it ate away at him.
“Jo, what are you doing all the way out here anyway? And a Honda…really? That thing isn’t fit to sell for parts.” He said while looking at the pathetic vehicle the other had in her possession.
Jo shrugged halfheartedly, trying to play it off with a smile. It wasn’t the first time she’d tried to explain what happened, but that didn't keep a cold hand from clenching around her heart. It hurt, thinking about it all. “I don’t know Sam, I was dead... and then I wasn’t. I woke up, in a motel room bed, alone. I don’t remember heaven, or hell, or... anything. I have absolutely no clue.I looked for you, and for Dean and Bobby and my mom... but it was just me, for about the last year or so.”
She watched, him obviously deep in thought. They had a history, maybe not the best one either, but Jo had always been the same, she trusted easily, got hurt and then forgave. It was her pattern, of sorts. She gave him another half smile, being that he looked so stressed. “What’s going on in that head of yours, Sam?” she asked.
“I was driving home from work and then I broke down,” she exhaled giving her car an exasperated look, “I was in a pinch... its not ideal, it doesn't run worth a crap but its all I have right now.” she shot the vehicle another dirty look before looking back at Sam. “Don’t judge.”
