Can I just say Bridget/Amelie bullshit line of "I brought you and Cliff back together!" Followed by "to show you, you weren't alone." Or something akin to that.
Pisses me off so bad, because bitch your the one who killed Cliff in the first place. You took Sams father away and made him feel like his family didn't want him and put him up for adoption. Don't even get me started on the fact because he was a pod baby. That he probably grew to have the touching phobia in the first place. Do to Sam living in a pod for his infancy and no one actually held him like a child. As his father would have done.
You brough Cliff back at the cost he was constantly reliving Wars. With his child being the thing hes trying to get back. Its the sheer power of "love" that Cliffs able to see through it and connect with his son.
From the moment Cliff struggled to whistle the lullaby to Sam finishing it. Its the family bond Bridget you didn't do shit but ruin a perfectly good father.

First word. Something Sam says a lot, that’s for sure. Maybe ‘Hellooo’ after hearing Sam say that a lot before. Just stuck with Lou. Hearing the first word, Sam would give his child an applause before picking Lou up and cradling, awkwardly congratulating like a dad “Hey, look at you, growing up quick, ain’t ya?”
First steps. He’d laugh and encourage, waving his kid over excitedly while joking that she’s ready to be a porter, though rocks might be a difficult obstacle for now. He’d try to get Lou to do it again and again, until the poor child is tired out, then he’d feel bad.
First love (cause why not). Oh boy, not very happy but not very mad. Kinda iffy and protective, as a father would be. Won’t be asking a shit tone of questions but will be watching everything. Keeps eyes on the He or She, watching how they treat Lou and their attitude. Will judge and say passive aggressive comments every now and then. They need to gain his trust. How? Who knows.
