KERBEROS MISSION ENDS IN DISASTER: CREW MEMBERS ARE PRESUMED DEAD AS CRASH OF THE K-05 SPACECRAFT IS REPORTED!

The tragedy of the Kerberos Mission has come as a complete shock to the public, as rumoured reports of a crash have been announced by Lyra Exploration Ltd as being true. Sympathies and condolences were extended to the families of the crew members on board and Lyra Exploration Ltd also announced that they are doing everything they can to investigate as to the cause of the crash, and hopefully can bring some closure to those family members grieving their loss

Active Duty Crew Members at the time of incident were Miranda Stern (Commander/Secondary Pilot), Takashi Shirogane (Primary Pilot), Ursula Joshi (Chief Engineer), Nikolaj Roche (Secondary Engineer), Kim Kirsch (Communications Officer), Dr Sam Holt (Chief Science Officer), Matthew Holt (Secondary Science Officer). They are survived by their loving families and friends, and they are all dearly missed.

Commander Miranda Stern and the Kerberos Crew arrived at Kerberos, moon of Pluto, in the early hours of the morning, 0245 Pacific Standard Time, as tracked by Lyra's Communication Centre, based in Texas. Due to distance, the radio signals arriving at the centre to signify their arrival likely arrived after the crash had already taken place. Within an hour of this signal, a bizarre set of panicked communications came through to the communications centre before the signal to the craft was lost entirely, and all tracking signals registered a disappearance, causing concern and resulting in the use of telescopic technologies to monitor the crew. According to the visuals, all that was left was the clear crash debris floating around the moon's thin atmosphere.

The cause of the crash and the details of the final communications between K-05 and the Lyra Base are unknown, but perhaps in the coming months, the investigations will make all clear.

Origins/Storyline

Colleen is originally married to Sam

Matt is 2-3 months old when Sam dies on a mission to Neptune’s moon, Triton

Colleen, in her grieving, flees to the house in the desert

About a month later is when Krolia crashes

Colleen finds her (taking the role of Texas)

Krolia has some Big Alien Dick EnergyTM and somehow gets Colleen pregnant

Keith is born a year after Matt was (they’re half-brothers in this AU)

Similar thing happens with Pidge about 3 years down the line

Yes, Pidge is half-galra now

Her design changes so she’s wearing tights under her shorts now due to her body having Galran markings 

Her hair also mimics Krolia’s by being two-toned (brown on top and pink under) but she frequently dyes it to be all brown 

She’s able to interact with Galra technology, etc.

Putting Matt at 4, Keith at 3, and Pidge at about a month old when Krolia leaves

Keith ends up idolising Matt as his older brother, deciding that when Matt goes to the Garrison, he would too a year later

Colleen returns to the Garrison as well as an engineer (mostly bc she needs an income for 3 kids) 

At the Garrison, as Keith’s teacher, Shiro becomes a role model for Keith (developing a connection we see in the show)

He pays extra attention to discipline issues, helping him out, etc

The Kerberos mission is Shiro, Matt, and Colleen this time 

Pidge is accepted a little early in so she’ll be taken care of per conditions for Colleen being able to leave to space 

Kerberos mission fails - Keith flunks out, going to the desert 

Pidge stays around a couple more months until she’s caught hacking into the systems too many times and is kicked out 

They both end up living in the desert together, working on the blue lion conspiracy

Adam ends up becoming their ‘guardian’ until Keith is 18

Pidge does go back as ‘Pidge’ to keep trying to find anything out she can 

Plot of Voltron ensues, but with the following changes:

Keith joins Pidge in looking for their mother and brother, but is more focused on the mission than Pidge is 

When Pidge tries to leave, Keith has an outburst along the lines of “You’re going to leave just like everyone else in our family did!”

Lance does have a moment where its like wait Keith and Pidge are related?

Colleen doesn’t take the place of Sam, she ends up escaping the Galra and joining up with a rag-tag team of rebels (space pirates) as their engineer

They end up meeting with her when the pirates end up responding to a distress call at the same time Voltron does

During the scene where Lotor and Zarkon fight, it’s due to Zarkon getting a hold on one of the lions and by extension members of Voltron (It’s Lance because I do what I WANT) 

When Keith finds Krolia and introduces her to the team, Krolia runs up to Pidge hugging her and just being like “MY CHILD YOU’VE GROWN SO MUCH YOU BOTH HAVE WHERES MATT”

Pidge didn’t remember Krolia at all (see notes 1 about why) so learning she has two momsTM is an experience, but it’s cut short by needing to deal with Lotor

During the battle with Lotor (aka the three year time skip) Colleen and Matt support each other through the mysteries of Voltron disappearing and the fight

Colleen establishes contact with Earth in this time (she was given the plans like Sam was in case she returned to Earth before anyone else) 

Atlas is still in the works of being built bc Colleen is like “I’m literally broadcasting from space what do you think?”

Krolia and Colleen reunite when they’ve found Kolivan

Colleen picks up on the signal and goes to it thinking it might be Krolia 

She ends up helping Keith in the fight 

They leave together to work on rallying forces for the BOM

When Sanda starts being a Little BitchTM Colleen splits off from Krolia and Kolivan to go manage things on Earth 

Because of this, Colleen is able to save a LOT of people (including Adam) 

Adam becomes head of the MFE’s and is able to reunite with Shiro

They don’t pick things up right away, Shiro apologises for a lot and Adam doesn’t forgive him, but he is willing to start a new and possibly rebuild things between them

I was watching the first episode of VLD earlier and I was just thinking, why is Shiro the only one without a helmet on before he gets knocked out? Matt and Sam got to keep theirs on, so why not Shiro?

Voltron Aftermath AU

Who wants another AU!?

Klance is established. Shallura is established.

The Paladins are practically trained soldiers now. They’ve become excellent at killing/assassination and stealth missions. Going back to earth wouldn’t feel the same because they have changed so much but they do want to go back eventually.

The AU takes place three years after the series starts. They have been fighting Zarkon and the Galra Empire for those three years. The families of the Paladins have pretty much given up on their children being found. They believe they’re dead.

Near the end of their first year out in space Lance was captured by the Galra while on a partner mission with Keith. He was imprisoned for two months. Keith blames himself for Lance’s capture because he wasn’t able to protect him.

After Lance was rescued, he wasn’t able to speak at first due to the torture and experiments he went through. He also came back with two bionic legs similar to Shiro’s arm. The Paladins noticed that they gave him some sort of tattoo like they were branding him. He slowly gained his voice back but he has to talk quieter and it sounds scratchy sometimes. Lance occasionally has fits of coughing up blood.

Shiro lost his bionic arm on the mission to rescue Lance. Hunk and Pidge made him a better arm with the crystals Allura and Coran use to power the castle. His PTSD has become less of a problem over the years. He also became much more protective over his fellow comrades, especially after the incident where Lance was captured.

Pidge, with the help of the others, had finally found her family and they now live on the castle with them and help on missions and the fight against Zarkon the best they can.

It was discovered that Keith was part Galra while they were out in space, but he doesn’t ‘look’ Galra. He only has the physical capabilities of a Galra.

The Paladins have gotten much more mature, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still have most of their old personalities.

The group visits the free planets to gain allies against Zarkon. On these diplomatic trips they were special Altean outfits in the the color of their lions. They also free as many planets as they possibly can, making allies with them along the way.

On one of the their diplomatic trips they discover intel that Zarkon is planning on heading to earth next, because it was discovered in had quintessence that was of interest to him.

While they were on their way to earth to prepare for Zarkon’s arrival, they were ambushed by Galra flagships. The group was separated and scattered across earth. Lance and Keith were together on an escape pod. Hunk, Pidge, and her family were also on an escape pod. While Shiro, Allura, and Coran crashed with the ship. The lions were separated from the ship and crashed in separate places as well.

Lance and Keith happen to land near where Lance’s family live (Florida) and are found by them. It’s a tearful reunion. Lance has to explain to them about where he’s been the past three years. His family take him and Keith home to rest up and promise to help in any way they can.

Hunk, Pidge, and her family land in the desert near the Galaxy Garrison in Arizona. They go Keith’s hut and discuss how they were going to find the others and the lions.

Shiro, Allura, and Coran land at the site of Stonehenge. Guards soon come towards the area to investigate the explosion and they unfortunately have to leave the castle behind. But Allura manages to put an invisibility barrier up, so no one will find it.

The team have to work to find each other and the lions again before Zarkon comes to destroy earth or it will be too late.
