I just fucking hate gender abolitionists, to be honest. Fashion is a language, and the language is gendered often. I'm not throwing away an element of communication that protects me from getting fucking misgendered in public. It's like you're pointing out that words can be used to say bad things, so you completely stopped talking.
I wish you'd stop talking.

Hi! I'm curious, if you don't mind me asking: What's your mother language and how many have your learned, or started to?
Hi! I don’t mind at all, and if you’d like to know more about interpreting or translating, please ask away.
My native language is Italian, and my working languages are English, French and German. I can read and/or understand Spanish and Portuguese - depending on the subject.
(Like, someone discussing foreign policy is generally easier to follow than someone explaining a traditional recipe or planning a birthday party because language is weird that way?)
I’m currently (re)learning Russian and learning Farsi, in the pious & overly optimistic hope my professional life can be about helping other humans instead of translating jingles.
