Sometimes I really enjoy watching those cooking competition shows with my mom and I really enjoy watching all the fancy stuff they do and all that, the food just looks SOOO good but also I know I could literally never eat it because flavours/textures etc and I just had this thought vaguely inspired by my boyfriend joking that he's gonna have to learn how to cook for autistic people when we live together but like, imagine a cooking competition where the chefs who are used to cooking those big elaborate fancy meals have to do an autistic person's samefood? Each week it's a different autistic person with different samefoods and the autistic person is judging who did the samefood better?
Like pasta, pizza, fish (using my own samefoods as examples), all with certain restrictions based on the judge's sensory needs.
Like pizza, one of my samefoods. Sauce has to be light and as smooth as possible, no tomato chunks at all. Only toppings I accept are cheese and pepperoni, and only if the pepperoni is sliced thinly. So the contestants would all have to find a way to do a variation of that.
No clue what to call this hypothetical show but I am enjoying this premise so far.
