I have been indulging in an awful lot of Frodo Stays in the Shire AU lately. And there’s nothing wrong with that! Sometimes you need the happy fluff after reading the canon ending. Because the canon ending will WRECK you if you have a heart that’s not two sizes too small. But sometimes, going back to canon can be fun too, so I did that late last night, when the combination of my own nightmares and the thunderstorms woke me in the middle of the night and I could not find enough peace to get back to sleep. Support

Sam Gamgee is the prime example of why supporting friends emotionally or in anyway at all is so important.

Realistically like, Frodo wouldn’t have gotten very far without him. There’s no way that Frodo would’ve even gotten to the Prancing Pony, let’s be honest.

And another thing, Frodo earned a lot of trauma after destroying the ring and Sam is his hope and healer, he helped Frodo through so many hardships.

Get yourself a friend like Sam Gamgee.
