trying to work but honestly im thinking about simon ending up on sam’s avengers, and sam’s like “saw your movie, i liked it” (you know, in that tone he does that could be flirting or could be friendly but drives everyone insane about him lol) and simon’s like, trying to play it off as cool and chill but he’s the opposite of that so while he’s freaking out internally he also trips over his words a little.

You're really going to stick Sam, the current CAPTAIN AMERICA, off to the side where he's barely even on the poster?

Putting that aside for now for more fun musings, do we think the people making the movie reached out to Sam to consult on the adaptation to correct/fix all the bad, stupid stuff in the musical? (I'd say Bucky too before Tbolts but he's on my shitlist now indefinitely. No headcanons for you.)

Do we think the actor playing Sam reached out to Sam so he could play him accurately?

Do we think Simon Williams submitted a self-tape/audition for the role of Sam Wilson, and then is a little embarrassed about not getting the role when he meets Sam for reals.

AND is Simon secretly not getting the role of Sam one of the reasons he's a little miffed during that conversation with his cousins. (" just a regular guy with a shield..." )

Just found your Sam Wilson/Simon Williams fic (I'm about to read it) But you were asking about a name for the ship...well. I started a Fanlore for them a while back.

Frankly, when I searched WonderCap, or something similar, it always brought up Steve Rogers/Diana Prince.

hi! thanks for this! wonderwings is cute; i do like samsimon, and i know others around here have been using it, too. but both work.

would you mind if i edited the page (probably in the next day or two)? most of us - at least in my circle, maybe - aren't shipping them because of the actors sharing a (purposefully stilted) kiss in a whole other franchise. i personally genuinely think they'd get along and have a cute dynamic as the characters they are in the mcu.

Uno de los creadores de los Simpson, Sam Simon, conto en el programa de Howard stein en marzo de 2005, una anécdota que ocurrió durante las grabaciones de voz del episodio que participo Michael Jackson “Stark Raving Dad”.

“Sam dijo que llevó el guión a la casa de Jackson para ver si estaría interesado en hacerlo y Jackson acepto. Su única petición fue que quería más escenas con Bart Simpson, su personaje favorito del programa. Exigió que se cambiara el guión para que su personaje pudiera pasar más tiempo con Bart.

Según Sam, cambiaron el guión y le dieron a Jackson una escena en la que pasa la noche solo con Bart en su habitación. Jackson estuvo de acuerdo con el cambio y se inscribió para hacer el programa. Sam también agregó que durante la grabación de voz, alguien le dio a Jackson un muñeco gigante de Bart Simpson y cuando pensó que nadie estaba mirando, Jackson comenzó a besar al muñeco. Michael Jackson escribió la canción que él y Bart le cantan a Lisa para animarla, y que incluye al personaje de Michael cantando, "Y tu primer beso de un niño..."

Lo hizo. Pero realmente no hablaría más de eso porque no quiero extenderme. Es desde el corazón, de nuestra parte, y creo que Jim [Brooks] lo expresó muy bien. No es por ninguna otra razón que por lo que acabo de decir, si ves el documental y luego ves ese episodio, algo anda mal.
