Continuing my Age of Resistance special inktober with the final scene of episode 1. That ending gave me chills ! The montage of our three protagonists with that intense music and Chamberlain's delightful speech made a perfect conclusion for this pilot.

I choose to illustrate it with the final shot : Deet leaving her home for the first time in her life. Deet was instantly one of my favorite characters because her design was the most creative of the bunch and her face conveyed more facial emotions than other Gelflings, so it was easier to sympathize with her. I think that it's because of her big dark eyes, they are less human so the Uncanny Valley is weaker (and I guess she had more CGI than the others...?) The Sanctuary Tree set was gorgeous, and as a Zelda fan it gave me a massive Deku Tree vibe ! I was convinced, this show was going to be fantastic.
